Dodgy title, dodgy opponent, dodgy ref, dodgy stoppage. Can't believe ITV charge for this rubbish. More fun on 5 with Flores and Selby!

You can only be trolling if you think that was a dodgy stoppage.

He looked like he had good enough recovery skills to make the count, and he certainly was trying to get up.
I just watched it back.. his corner were screaming @ the ref and he just shook his head firmly as if to say, "No way I can let him fight on"

He may have been able to last a few seconds more, maybe even a few rounds more - but far more likely he got seriously damaged.
Perfect stoppage.

Eubank has grown on me since he split from Hearn.
Him and his own man want to carve out their own pie e and I have to respect that...

It was a ridiculous stoppage. Ref just panicked. Give him a count.

Exactly. Even Terry O'Connor would have been embarrassed by that one, though only slightly.

Watch Yildrims head nearly spin off his shoulders then say it was ridiculous.

Happens in boxing all the time. At least begin a count and give yourself time to assess a fighter's condition. Matthew Saad Muhammad would have never won a fight with that ref.

Superb KO from Eubank Jr but maybe the ref was a bit quick to wave it off? I watched it in foreign so not sure if theres been any controversy, lovely knockdown from Eubank Jr in the 1st with not surprisingly the right uppercut, Jr was even showing he had a jab and used it well , still a bit wild but great to see him start using a jab at last, Yildirim looked a bit crude and I'm not sure if he would've recovered had the ref had gave a count

anvi was made for you eubanks good pick ,anvi rushing in the early rounds , but eubank dealt with him very classy .let his hands go and hit the target with some good combos , looked like the turk caught jr with a couple of shots ,but eubank took them , eubank looked good ,don't know how strong the oppo was though

I second that at first thought he was being bit of a tit (after the whole GGG fiasco) but fair play lad is making some real £ in this tournament

it took him easily over 5 minutes to get up from his stool. He was done, he was seeing stars you could see his eyes were all over the place as he sat in the corner. Eubank is a beast. I have him and Bredis winning each tournament when it was announced even before the AA fight.

I'm just glad he's not being an inactive puss. The best and most entertaining fighters will gain a massively following if they keep up their fight schedule. From what I'd heard about Yildirim, I'm surprised Eubank's managed to stop him, but it was a beautiful shot, and there's not many better fighters than him atm for me in this division. Groves fight will be intriguing as hell, just hope he doesn't become a diva again...

Eubank looked fantastic in this fight. Polyakov got robbed badly in the opening fight.

I like Eubank as a fighter, I really do, but time will tell whether his career thus far has been handled well or very badly. Yes, going it alone can work - look at Haye - but annoying a multitude of promoters you're probably going to have to work with at some point can't be a wise move.

I'm not sure ITV box office will work either. Of course the Groves fight will do ok but putting him up against standard Sky fights will only have a negative impact.

Just watched the fight. Mega quick stoppage but it appears to be the right decision.

That Ref must live in The Matrix.
