Lennox had the best shape for me, a big athletic frame, not over muscled with plenty of flexibility

I wouldn't argue with that.

The fact that Povetkin has been a Top 5 heavyweights for about a decade - not to mention the successes of Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, David Haye, Eddie Chambers, David Tua, Chris Byrd, James Toney, Ruslan Chagaev and others - proves that those saying the champions of old couldn't compete with today's giants couldn't be more wrong.
I doubt if Povetkin could weigh-in at 200 and be effective... Mike Perez was a 1-round job for Povetkin and lacked the strength to compete with him.. And Povetkin never won a round off Klitschko who he gave up 20 pounds to.. Klitschko physically man-handled him, throwing him down with ease.

Chambers was sparked out cold by Klitschko after losing every round.. It was a devastating KO delivered with ease, but perfectly accurate... Haye had virtually no chance against Klitschko and certainly will be cleaned up by Joshua in short order when they meet... Haye looked surprisingly devastating against Chisora and Harrison -- who are comparatively MASSIVE Heavyweights compared to Haye -- but also 2nd tier Heavyweights who lacked the skills to compete.. Haye was much better than Byrd, who couldn't win a round off Wladimir and was run over by 19-fight tyro, Ike Ibeabuchi.

Tomasz Adamek was a 2-Division World Champ who easily outboxed Chris Arreola and MIchael Grant -- but couldn't win a round off 40-year-old Vitali Klitschko. Tua had NO shot in the world against Lewis or Ustinov.. Judging from his refusal to fight Wladimir, it's no wonder Holyfield lost 2 of 3 fights to inept swinger Riddick Bowe and was clearly outclassed by Lennox Lewis in both fights.. Evander fought out of a shell in both fights after ducking Lewis for over 10 years.. Ruslan Chagaev had NO shot in the world with Wladimir Klitschko -- never coming close to winning a round or landing a decent punch -- after Chagaev clearly outboxed inept giant Nicolai Valuev to win a World Title.

Toney beat Ruiz, who had all the skills of inept Pole Andrew Golota.. Ruiz beat Holyfield to show you how skilled Holyfield wasn't!!!

When big men are as inept and unskilled as Willard, Carnera, Valuev, Harrison, Golota, Grant, Price, Arreola, Harrison, Chisora, McCline, etc., they WILL get beaten by the best small Heavyweights in the world -- and in turn lose very badly to brilliant boxing big guys like Lewis, the Klitschko Bros, and Joshua -- unless you have a case where a big man is miles ahead on points but suffers a debilitating freak injury.. I remember when Muhammad Ali went down from a debilitating hernia that popped 3 days before his rematch with Sonny Liston -- postponing the fight for many months.. What if that happened during the fight???
