Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
Whyte by late stoppage.
Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
Helenius looked absolutely awful last fight. By far the worst I've seen him look...
Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
Do not start threads like this with hypothetical fights.

And why do you take such a stance on these matters might I ask?Horse wrote:Do not start threads like this with hypothetical fights.

Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
Hearn has mentioned this potential fight amongst others, i'm interested to know who the boxrec public fancies if the fights do end up getting finalized.Horse wrote:It's misleading.wesshaw1985 wrote:And why do you take such a stance on these matters might I ask?
Seems fair to me...
Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
If the fight was made today, I'd say Dillian Whyte without a doubt.
Helenius is on more of a gradual comeback route after his KO loss to Johann Duhaupas and from the looks of who he is fighting right now it'll be a little while before he regains his form. Then it's either he scratches the surface of world level fights again or weather he stays at European level is anyone's guess right now.
Whyte on the other hand, since his loss to Joshua he's just gotten right back to business and not looked back. His fight with Chisora was easily a British fight of the year candidate if not more, so his stock is still high after that and after a successful stateside debut he is looking more impressive as time goes on.

Because you churn out these potential match ups at a frightening rate.wesshaw1985 wrote:And why do you take such a stance on these matters might I ask?Horse wrote:Do not start threads like this with hypothetical fights.
It's like you want to cover every potential match up because you're scared someone might nip in ahead of you and start a fight thread

I'm just trying to keep on top of potential upcoming fights and I'm genuinely interested in how people on here think they will play out.

Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
To be honest, I think most of us are so used to fights not happening, we don't care to talk about them any more until they do.
Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
Whyte should decision him straight forward
Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
It would be a fantastic match, like Ali vs Frazier or Louis vs Charles. I can't wait...

I like a hypothetical thread sometimes but I have to agree it is misleading.Horse wrote:It's misleading.wesshaw1985 wrote:And why do you take such a stance on these matters might I ask?

Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
If the thread was called "WHO WOULD WIN..." or had the word hypothetical in the title somewhere there wouldn't be a problem as far as I'm concerned, but it is misleading otherwise - especially when it is such a makeable fight as this.
Think the fight is competitive - but Whyte either finds the punches to force a stoppage or gets a KD (or two) assisted close decision.

"I would still like to try to make that fight but we are running out of time," according to Hearn today...

Wouldn't mind seeing this but given the choice I'd rather Whyte fought Breazeale.wesshaw1985 wrote:"I would still like to try to make that fight but we are running out of time," according to Hearn today...

Helenius would be a good fight for the Chisora angle...

Why's Breazeale outta the running? Re: WHO WINS? Dillian Whyte vs. Robert Helenius
according to Hearn in an IFL interview today, Breazeale is out of the running for the 28th of October. Not enough time to prepare of something...Stuarty30 wrote:Why's Breazeale outta the running?
