I don't think Lomachenko has a huge size and strength advantage over Rigo, but I think he'll win the fight in lopsided fashion because he's the much fresher of the two fighters, and is significantly busier with his punch output.
I doubt he stops Rigo. Though a knockdown or two in his favor seems quite possible.
Is Rigondeaux a better boxer than Lomachenko ?

I think that the size difference is significant, although Rigo has agreed to it so I respect their analysis of the circumstances. If Rigo can get Lomassiah's attention with his pop this could be very competitive. If not, Rigo likely gets blown out.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't think he'll win, but the odds are better he wins than he is bullied around the ring by the much bigger and more physical fighter.

No reason why he can't get his attention. He needs to be able to cut down lomas output, that's why rigos reach advantage is important.Tanzio wrote:I think that the size difference is significant, although Rigo has agreed to it so I respect their analysis of the circumstances. SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't think the size will be a factor at all. 2 inches in height, half dozen pounds, shorter arms. I'm not surprised Nate doesn't understand the weight part of the game. Few fans do, probably one of those guys telling me pac was too small for Oscar. The reach is pertinent here because Loma will be more aggressive and rigo will look to drop that long left counter on him.
I actually think Rigo may be shorter than his listed height of 5'4"

Rigo had a hard time making 119 in the amateurs. I was at the '07 Pan Am's and he really struggled to make weight and when he did, he looked so drained. I thought when he turns pro he'll jump up to 130. I'm surprised he has boxed at 122 in the pros.

How would you rate a win for Loma if he beats Rigo? I'm just curious how you'd break it down considering Rigo is considerably older and smaller?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:NateJR wrote:I'm always confident, never claimed I was always right.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:We'll see. Are you as confident as you were when canelo was going to handle ggg easily?you're wrong again.
Would you rate it somewhere along the lines of Mayweather defeating Marquez, GGG defeating Brook, Alvarez defeating Khan. Or does Lomachenko get more credit? If so, then why?

I think Mayweather/Marquez is one of the most underrated wins in history. So that's head and shoulders above the others. Obviously you have t see how it plays out, but I'd rate this over the other two. Best win of lomas career. Why? I think rigondeaux is better than Brook and Khan. The only truly compromised fighter as far as weight/size goes was Khan.
