Junior Witter v Zab Judah

I have never seen the fight. Was Witter very defensive? I mean to the point of being negative.

It went far beyond Witter just being defensive. He back-peddled at a consistent pace of around 30mph for the duration fight. He tried to look cool at points, but he just looked like a prick. He stunk the joint out that night and it will stay with him his entire career.

I dont care how much time he had to prepare, he should have come to fight, end off!!

In retrospect it would have heart his reputation far less if he had planted his feet and swung at Zab for 3 rnd sand gone out on his shield.

I can understand his retisence to stand and trade though - Zab was a 'golden boy' at the time and was being referred to as 'Pernell Whitaker with power' (remember that??!)

Showtime were so disgusted by his showing that they would not even hear mention of his name for years.
