Francesco Pianeta v kevin Johnson
These 2 battle it out on Saturday for the IBO International Title. Will the winner get a crack at Anthony Joshua for his IBO Heavyweigh belt?
AJ already beat Johnson quite easily but would Pianeta prove more durable if he beats Johnson on Saturday?

Quite possibly mate, but AJ holds the IBO belt so he could face the winner.
Re: Francesco Pianeta v kevin Johnson

think id rather smear poop on the wall and clean it up than watch this.

Kevin Johnson beat Pianeta tonight...

A little surprising honestly. I expected it to be a snoozefest that went the distance.wesshaw1985 wrote:Kevin Johnson beat Pianeta tonight...

Kevin Johnson in with either Fres Oquendo or Ustinov next to get in the WBA mix.gilgamesh wrote:A little surprising honestly. I expected it to be a snoozefest that went the distance.wesshaw1985 wrote:Kevin Johnson beat Pianeta tonight...
Maybe Price or Hughie pay to bring him over and try to force the IBO Title from AJ...

I haven't seen it, but it was probably similar like Molina vs that Polish light somethingweight.
These lightweights often win rounds, but break down as soon as they get hit.

Polish light somethingweight???? Are you referring to Adamek? Jesus christ, Pianeta is a career heavyweight.
When did you start watching boxing? 2015?
The only reason I don't block you is because you make me feel like a mensa elder on a daily basis.

Re: Francesco Pianeta v kevin Johnson
does Johnson push the IBO now to get him a mandatory shot and if AJ refuses do they strip him?
Kevin Johnson could take his IBO HW World Title to ITV PPV and be a Box Office fighter in 2018...

IBO never order mandatories.. They know their HW title is also linked to one of the big orgs.. and it will always get defended alongside those titles against a good name..wesshaw1985 wrote:does Johnson push the IBO now to get him a mandatory shot and if AJ refuses do they strip him?

IBO's rankings are quite bad to be honest..
Re: Francesco Pianeta v kevin Johnson
Hughie fury vs Kevin Johnson is easily the worst current heavyweight fight imaginable.wesshaw1985 wrote:Kevin Johnson in with either Fres Oquendo or Ustinov next to get in the WBA mix.gilgamesh wrote:A little surprising honestly. He has dealt with the Furys before and I bet he comes relatively cheap even with that IBO jewellery...Naandrew wrote:Hughie fury vs Kevin Johnson is easily the worst current heavyweight fight imaginable.wesshaw1985 wrote:Kevin Johnson in with either Fres Oquendo or Ustinov next to get in the WBA mix.gilgamesh wrote:

Would you actually watch that? I'd call the police if they tried to box on my lawn.
Re: Francesco Pianeta v kevin Johnson
That's Johnson's first vaguely relevant victory in about four years, might prolong his career as a gatekeeper type opponent...

if it was co-main on a Flanagan vs. Beltran card from the M.E.N I'd keep an eye on it...SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Would you actually watch that? I'd call the police if they tried to box on my lawn.
