They can't. That's horsesh*t, and I'd never bet with them again.

That being said it SHOULD'VE been a TKO, but the fact of the matter is officially it wasn't.

Definitely. That's been the most effective stuff he's done in the fight. Avalos stopped exchanging as much after some body shots, more could convince him to stop fighting altogether.

Does it specify by 12 Round decision? Because that’s what 5Dimes and every good book does to remove confusion.

Now he is going downstairs. Avalos had the uppercut strategy down for this one.

No just 'Mares to win on points'. Can't believe they are trying to wriggle out of it. If the scores are read out it's points, right?

Not sure why they stopped it. Avalos obviously had SC right where he wanted him.

They finally called the fight. No need to let it go on. It was a completely one sided shellacking.

Sorta silly behavior here from Avalos. Jumping up on the ropes like "I got robbed everybody cuz they stopped it too soon"...nah dude, nobody thinks that

He's a gutsy fighter though so I ain't gonna give him too much guff, he was just out of his depth.

Ref couldn't take anymore. Avalos has an epic chin. LSC should have invested body more.

Could have gone on but can't blame the ref. Fight was out of reach other than KTFO that Avalos did not look capable of.

This wasn't as bad as that first fight first round fiasco. Bad precedent having fights stopped like this in two of three fights.

Bet Bright. Just read their rules. States 'Any fight which goes to a technical decision will be considered an early stoppage. For the method of victory market this means the KO/TKO or DQ selection will be settled as the winner'.

Absolutely crazy. Officially it went to the cards, and Mares official record still has him at 15 stoppage wins (same as it was pre-fight). But these guys have him down as a TKO winner, regardless of official result?

Like I said earlier, dude has a zombie chin. He has been stopped but only TKOs. He just keeps absorbing it.

I was there in Press Row for his fight before this one. I was a bit surprised to see him get a fight like this off the back of that, but I guess I shouldn't be.

Yep. Wanted to take Trout but 17 months + 32 years + 27 year old hard hitting belt holder = a lean toward Hurd.

Good opening round for Trout. He was getting in a lot of clean shots as the round went on.

1-0 Trout
