Saunders' footwork made Eubank look awful. Eubank hasn't faced anyone since with that type of movement.

I think it's overstating the case to say anyone looked 'awful' in such a close fight, unless of course you determine both had a shocker. The implication that Saunders' footwork bamboozled Eubank may have validity for the early part but he lost a lot of later rounds.

I rate Saunders to an extent but he rarely dominates like he probably should.

massive gap in pro and am experience when they fought. eubank further off reaching his peak. yet still ended up in split decision with eubank ragdolling him for most 2nd half.

Lemieux ain't too clever as a boxer, some shot on him though, always got that punchers chance :box:

But for me bill has enough to out box him and get a wide points win

Made Eubank look awful is pushing it mate .

It was a close fight and Jr hadn’t gone the full 12 before and gave away the first 5 rounds at least as the work rate wasn’t there.

Made him look awful ? No way

Saunders lost later rounds because of poor preparation and fitness. I'm hoping that he has learned from this with his new training regime. He has said himself he beat Eubank when he was barely fit.
Eubank now fights in a division 8lbs higher and I doubt he will come back down.

Watch it again mate. Saunders stepped around him with ease until he ran out of steam.

Eubank jr is pretty ordinary, I'd pick lemiueux to bash the living daylights out of him. I really don't see the huge fuss over Saunders, he has some boxing skills but i think he's well short of being a truly world class fighter.

eubank would easily beat lemieuex and saunders now. lem especially would just walk into big shots.

lem-saunders much more interesting than eubank vs either.

I think you're getting a bit carried away and I doubt we'll ever see Eubank at middleweight again.

I guess it's a Saunders insult, I'd love Lemieux to switch him right off :bag:

Best opponent Saunders has faced since Eubank Jnr by a mile.

So what happened to Kurthidsidze or whatever his name was? Interim WBO champion, mandatory for Saunders - scheduled to fight in the Summer? Dissapeared of the face of earth.

did he mean short arms? like t rex arms. lemieux used to have reach listed as 64 here which is unusually short for his height, although his reach now says 70

short legs seems like a fuckingg awful stupid insult unless it has some meaning im missing. we are talking bjs here though

exactly 8 weeks till dec 16th. lets fuckingg have this fight! boxing needs more of these same level fights. too much is cross level stuff like ggg-lemieux instead of this. bjs competitive decision but risky fight. would like to see him outside uk for once. in environment where they wont let his kid up to do ball kicking and then have everyone laugh at it.

Saunders has not improved in fact looked worse than ever before, he looked terrible against Monroe it was an awful fight.

Saunders would not last 6 rounds with Eubank jr if they fought again.

I fancy Lemieux. I see BJS starting quick but slowing down mid-rounds and getting caught.

Lemieux is one dimensional but that one dimension might be enough against a fading BJS.
