He's obviously going to sign with hbo. Joshua is huge money, Al won't mind that fight on HBO. The main money would be from sky anyway. I also think Showtime has the right to match any offer for one more fight. That would make me think Joshua/Wilder isn't next anyway.

He'll fight Wilder when he's good and ready. It's the biggest fight out there so obviously they will want it to maximize it's earning potential by letting the anticipation for it grow.

Wilder has no contract with any network. He could fight on HBO if he wanted just like Jacobs.

Question, if you were Joshua, who would you sign with? Think money, promotion, opportunities etc

Whomever hearn wants him too. We'll always be a secondary market for them. Right now HBO is obviously that place, and even though Joshua is unknown here now he is clearly marketable.Ossyrules wrote:Question, if you were Joshua, who would you sign with? Think money, promotion, opportunities etc

Re: opinions---will AJ sign with HBO so he won't
How could any one possibly think Joshua might be afraid to fight fraud wilder???
How could anyone believe any of the BS coming out of the mouth of wilder lately?
AJ will kill wilder. He's letting wilder talk because AJ and his team know that the only big BIG BIG $$$ fight opponent down the road to build up is with wilder. THough wilder is nothing and less than Pulev, Whyte, Chisora, PArker, there is a perception that wilder is something special lol. So AJ and his team are letting wilder build himself up into this big fraud opponent down the road.

AJ will fight Wilder once both their profiles are bigger and it becomes such a big fight it will have to happen, the notion that AJ is scared of any HW is laughable.

I thought Wilder has an exclusive deal with Showtime?

Anthony Joshua's bout against Carlos Takam will be the fifth consecutive fight he's had televised by Showtime.dickbelden wrote:opinions---will AJ sign with HBO so he won't have to fight WILDER ?
Eddie Hearn said there are no imminent plans for AJ to sign with HBO.
Neither Deontay Wilder nor Anthony Joshua have committed themselves to exclusive TV deals with either Showtime or HBO. They are simply network free agents that have aligned themselves to Showtime for the time being.
After outbidding HBO for the US rights to televise AJ's next fight, Stephen Espinoza (GM of Showtime Sports) stated his intention to continue televising Joshua's bouts for the foreseeable future.
Eddie Hearn last week expressed his desire for AJ to engage in a title unification bout against Deontay Wilder immediately after the Takam fight, targeted for the summer of 2018.
Joshua himself has stated his own desire to face Deontay Wilder and even threatened to "ram his jab down" the American's "throat", due to all the nonsense "ducking" claims the American has been making.
AJ's best opponent is the dead-cert first ballot Hall-of-Famer, Wladimir Klitschko.
In stark contrast, Deontay Wilder's best opponent is Bermane Stiverne.
'The Bronze Bomber' priced himself out of an opportunity to receive a career-best payday in order to avoid facing one of AJ's previous KO victims, Dillian Whyte.
Are there any facts that I've listed that you care to refute?

HBO outbid Showtime significantly, Showtime had the right to match the offer. Would you like to apologize for completely ignoring the facts?

Showtime met their contractual obligation and their final bid was not surpassed by HBO.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:HBO outbid Showtime significantly, Showtime had the right to match the offer. Would you like to apologize for completely ignoring the facts?

Are you able to undermine any of the other facts I've written or are you trying to attack minutae as a weak attempt to discredit all the main points that you cannot challenge?
I listed nine points.

You barely deleted your boisterous claim of victory before I quoted it. Repeating my correction is an admission of guilt in its own right. I accept your apology. You're welcome for yet another free Saad class.
