Joshua now fights Takam on Oct-28... Will you create a new thread, JCS?

Doubt it.. Just change existing one.

Were it a 50/50 fight or further out, I'd create a new one.

As is Berchelt vs. Salido... After all, Salido beat Lomachenko not long ago, and, on the same card, Francisco Vargas vs. Mickey Roman, in a final elim. :TU:

Ain't it better to schedule the Breazeale vs Molina fight instead of the Stiverne fight? Both boxers are ranked higher and also here on boxrec scheduled as the main event of that evening over there. On top of that it's harder to predict.

JCS, Berchelt vs. Salido is off! Berchelt has reoortedly injured his right hand. Now, the WBC will try to make a final elim between Salido and Vargas, with Farmer vs. Ogawa on the undercard, fighting for the vacant IBF 130 lbs. title... HBO might pull the plug if no new main event materializes.

Looks like Salido will fight Roman and vargas will fight Stephen Smith.

Please read:

PTBF is dead until I have time to re-work the automated utility.. or they change the theme back to exactly what it was.

Everytime they change the damn look/feel of the forum, I have to make changes.

Dang... is there no possibility to at least finish the season? If not, calculate yesterday's fight manually and declare the winner, point blank. :maybe:

Which language? Are you also updating the standings table using that software?

VB, SQL, Excel. Yes.

I actually want to partially automate fight selection.. but that is for another day.

Problem fixed. We're back online.

Alexander Povetkin vs Christian Hammer 15 december 2017

I think it should be a 2X match, it's the highest average ranked heavyweight fight of this year.

Is there a wooden spoon?

Of all the contestants who have made all 37 guesses, I am ranked over 100 points behind the nearest rival and Claude has a 3X left.

I've had a feckin nightmare this year

Couldn't see it on my phone. For joining so late I've had a respectable run.

Yep, got that one and added.. 1.75X for now.
I still think this should have been a 2X, 4 olympic gold medals, that's more as Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mike Tyson, David Haye, both Klitschko's and Povetkin combined! It won't get any higher level as this and I would be surprised if it will again within 10 years.

If one guy wasn't jumping 2 divisions.. I'd agree with you. Isn't Rigondeaux also a 4-1 (or so) dog?

...And WTF.. another forum change? Come on guys.

Ah well, compared to junior vs the newcomer...
sorry about the forum changes, I don't like changes either and I wonder who is in charge of such things.
