nice guys
Re: nice guys
Crolla seems a sound guy. Ricky Burns is a nice guy. Always find him the same way. Carl Frampton is a nice guy. Gave me signed gloves. Met him a few times now. Met Kevin Mitchell before and he was a real sound guy as well.

Re: nice guys
Crolla, Burns and Price come across as nice guys.
Out of the few boxers I've met, Haggler was a proper friendly guy, got a good personalised signed photo from him. He treated everyone like an old friend.

Would love to meet Hagler. I'm no historian and tend to focus on current affairs but I have watched a lot of his stuff and he is an icon! Would love to meet Leonard as well. Seems a decent guy.. on tv anyway lol.tigermoth87 wrote:Crolla, Burns and Price come across as nice guys.

My old mans favourite fighter was Ken Buchanan and he was working on the same site as him in Paisley. My dad was a spark and Buchanan a joiner. Spoke to him all day. Said he was star struck and couldn't do his work lol.

I'm met Leonard on the after dinner circuit, wouldn't even pose for a picture with me, didn't have time
Also, met Mike Tyson on the after dinner circuit in Hull too - obviously your a bit wary around him because of his reputation, but he was a great guy, warmly shakes your hand and lets you have a pic.

Big Enzo is a bit of a prick - asked for a photo & he just put his middle finger up.

Evander did that when I met him, too. Frank Grant, Fat Git? I'm sure he is in the right circumstances, but, as I've said before, a lot of people wouldn't be that comfortable in his company. Especially 'bad boys'...Kilsby wrote:^^^Stuarty30 wrote:Would love to meet Hagler. I'm no historian and tend to focus on current affairs but I have watched a lot of his stuff and he is an icon! - no kidding.

Yet to meet anyone who's met Henry Wharton or Tyson Fury with a bad word to say about them. Hatton is ok, too, if you can get past Paul Speak. Brook is great, sober.

Re: nice guys
Haven't met to many big name boxers but got me picture taken with Tyson Fury, couldn't of been friendlier. Went out of his way to let me have A picture taken with him as he was getting ushered by security back to his seat he said I can't let him go without having a photo and gave me a minute of his time

Surprised about Enzo...you should have just KO'd him
Re: nice guys
I thought Bellew was very nice and great to chat to.
Also liked Dillian Whyte. Was talking to him when my phone rang, I answered it and just said, "Rich I can't talk right now, I am with Dillian Whyte" and he took my phone and said, "Yeah Richard, he is with me, he will phone you later". Great moment.
