I didn't find any source confirming it but.... Woah, that will be such a good test for Kuzmin, whom I have said for a while that is a very good HW prospect (with amateur pedigree) and with above average general skills to give trouble to many ppl.

Unless Browne gets a lot of money for that fight. What's he got to gain from it?! Surely he would have been better off fighting Whyte when it was offered?! If he had beaten Whyte, there's a good chance he could have gotten Joshua.

i predict Browne gets KO'ed in this one - he is one of the most overrated HW recently

The problem was he wasn't going to beat Whyte. I don't know anything about this kuzmin though.

I'm with you. Big daddy is a beast but Chagaev was tooling him. I think Kuzmin being younger and obviously healthier than Chagaev will not let him off the hook.

Browne is one of the dirtiest boxers there is as far as PED usage, so I'm really not a fan of him fighting in any sense.

However, I'm looking forward to Kuzmin getting a relevant test. Seems like a big step up, but... Kuzmin is no slouch.

It wasn't real money at Whyte fight....and you cannot deposit "good chance" in a bank.

I presume Riabinski paid much more :salut:

I dunno. Browne is no great shakes but neither is Whyte imo. Would have been an interesting matchup.

Yeah, he has got deep pockets, so hopefully Browne is getting a good payday for it.

I don't think Hearn was prepared to pay decent money. I'm sure the way he was looking at it was the show was sold out with or without a competitive heavyweight fight on the undercard. Besides which it already had a decent undercard.

Strange fight for Browne to take. I'm assuming the money must be good.

Lucas Browne should fight Alex Leapai. Who had an early KO win a couple of weeks back.
Just to see where he is at.
At 36 Big Daddy has only 1 or 2 years left.
He must use each fight as a stepping stone towards the big one with Joshua Wilder or Parker.
He don't win in any of those but a Million dollar payday makes it worthwhile.
He beats Hughie Fury and Duhaupaus and maybe Chisora.

I really like Lucas Browne. He's a real handful for any fighter who stands and trades with him. I do think though that Hughie Fury is the worst type of opponent for Lucas and would make a monkey of him. If he has learnt the harsh lessons of his WBO Title failure, I'd pick him to have Browne totally knackered from chasing shadows and on the wrong end of a wide decision.

Kuzmin might start favourite but Browne won't have to go looking for him. Not an easy fight for either man.
