michael hunters chances

I have been impressed watching michael hunter lately, has any one followed him and tell me how far he can really go?

He's not good enough for world level but is a solid European champ .
I think Bernard Dunne beats him but I also don't feel Dunne is up to world level .

Hunter's next fight is against German Guartos who has a very padded record (although he does have a 6 round draw with Monshipor , aswell as a TKO loss in 3) and Hunter will deal with him fairly easily .

I dont like hunter i think he has no skills whatsoever, i have not seen him do anything that even resembles boxing in his last two fights, and i dont think he will go far.

I've followed him from the start and has great chances on the 28th, as for the idiot saying he has no skills at all is pathetic. at the end of the 2nd round he was 4 points down on pickering. He came back and won so if that isnt anything to do with skill please tell me. Pickering who he beat is challenging for a world title also.

I don't think Hunter can stay at world level but i am sure he can get there and have a bloody good go with whoever he faces, with his workrate he always has a chance. I would pick him to beat Dunne as well, i haven't seen anything from Dunne to suggest he will be a force at world level, he might make European perhaps.

ok just opinions mate

i dont think hes even learned to throw a punch properly though, hes always off balance, his footwork is crap, and doesnt put his bodyweight into anything. I think he will get knocked out by anyone decent he faces because he hasnt learned how to box with any finesse or style. I predict a bit of skill will take him down, but hey he may prove me wrong. Pickering did give a bad performance that night he was very off n admits he was fooled into thinking he had hunter pegged. Credit to hunter coming back to win, i just think hes a poor boxer and wont go anywhere with his current style.

Michael hunter doesn't get the credit he deserves..............he's a great boxer when HE chooses to be. He's a 2 time ABA winner for Gods sake. He enjoys a "tear up" as he calls it but don't be fooled into thinking he's a one trick pony. As for Dunne, Hunter will be to good and to big for him. Anyone whos seen him in the flesh will tell you he's huge for the weight, although he makes the weight easily through fanatical training.

Hunter gives his all and because of that he has great support from the fans - He will win the next fight without a doubt but I cant see it being too easy for him - Is he world class? maybe not

Has to be one of the fittest fighters in Britain today. No Pernell Whittaker but his skills continue to be under-rated. Was with him the weekend and he is well up for April 28. Training gone like a dream for this one and a week last Sunday (on his day off), he finished 12th out of 400 in a five-mile run... wearing a 10lbs vest and a tracksuit! return with Pickering has been mooted for later this year and he is more than willing to fight the boy Dunne in Dublin. That would be a great night.

i was sat next to him at the Choi show, a few hours after that race, he mentioned doing another run for one of the running clubs, and he fancied his chances

Aye my towns people are mad as fook. As well as me, we've all got some kinda screw loose.
