Groves has no power.. That was proven in the Jack fight when Badou walked through him.. His chin isn't real good.

But Groves is tall and has been fighting at Super Middleweight for a long time.. This is the first veteran contender Eubank has faced at 168 so he can't go in there with his head up his ass.. But Eubank has come a long way since his loss to Saunders where he performed like a rookie -- so I don't think cockiness is necessarily going to be a major issue.. You can't be full of yourself versus a veteran fighter and Eubank tends to be cock-sure.
Groves has no power? You high. Fvck, fake news rife of what

groves isnt a massive hitter imo. but definitely good power. prob among hardest hitting counter punchers today. i think a lot with him is that he also has speed and catches you with shots you dont brace for. when he just tees off on guys its actually when he doesnt get his best stoppages. froch, cox, smith, i think happened when he coutnered.

Agree with this, if he’s clubbing you and you see it coming it’s not putting you down, but it will break you down slowly. Murray, chudinov, the poor lad who was hospitalised...

If he lands the quick counters and you’re not ready it’s lights out

He's the only fighter I've seen hurt Froch, much less drop him. That says it all.

It should do.

Seems to me the guys Groves has taken longer to stop, or have gone the distance, are tight-guard dudes who don't let their hands go much, Jack and Murray and Gutnecht come to mind anyway.

And what he did to Paul Smith? :o

Ah good reminder that one did hurt Froch. Not as badly as Pavlik was hurt by Taylor but definitely a legit KD

Indeed. Groves hits hard enough to have an ATG chin on rubber legs for about 4 rounds :TU:

i wouldn't be so sure mate, this is the guy who says Hagler couldn't box and Sugar Ray Robinson was a brawler.
