I agree this is actually a more interesting fight than the original.

Takam will likely go more rounds than Pulev would have and will at least try and rough AJ up, rather than Pulev standing straight up trying to box and hopelessly f(l)ailing.

It is a forgone conclusion he will beat both, why people arw travelling to Cardiff to watch this dross is beyond me...

We will 'all know who the winner will be' for nearly all of Joshua's fights from this point onwards. He's a step above everyone else. Folks might argue Wilder, but I believe Deontay gets blown away.

Streams still aren't reliable and I don't want to miss the fight. I won't miss the money hence I'll pay it.

If Hughie is a tenner, and Groves Cox is a tenner, then the best heavyweight in the world is going to be PPV. People moaning about PPV in boxing is dull as feck - nothing is going to change and it's been that way for decades. Suggesting that Hughie Parker will bomb on PPV (which it did) is fine, but why people question Joshua on the same platform just reveals their lack of basic economic sense.

Anthony Joshua could be a stone lighter for his world title fight against Carlos Takam and will have extra speed and spite, says promoter Eddie Hearn.

The WBA 'super' and IBF champion has undergone a lengthy training camp ahead of his next title defence, with Takam replacing the injured Kubrat Pulev as his opponent in Cardiff on October 28, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

oshua tipped the scales at 17st 12lbs 2oz, his career heaviest weight, for the back from the brink victory over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley in April, and Hearn believes the champion's new-look leaner frame will produce an explosive performance.

"Josh is hitting very hard," Hearn told Sky Sports. "You're going to see him come in lighter in this fight.

"I think he could be 10 pounds, even a stone lighter than he was in the Klitschko fight.

"You're going to see him extra fast, with extra spite. As far as I'm concerned the most exciting fighter in world boxing, ready to do the business next Saturday."
