Cardiff Show

Post by Realistic »

Eddie Hearn is a joke, a huge show in Wales and he has ONE Welsh fighter on the bill!! Put your hand in your pocket and get some of the up and coming talent FFS. In the bigger picture it is pennies to him if he puts a few locals on the undercard, the likes Of Gavin Gwynn and the like, it would also help boost their fan base.

Shame on Eddie.

He's no longer promoted by Hearn. I think Eddie's a bit pissed off the way Selby went with Haymon after Hearn promoted him to a world title fight and then left him a few fights later.

It's not as though they need some local or even Welsh fighters to build the attendance and it won't help PPV buys.

The show has no relevance to Cardiff or Welsh fighters, they will have wanted the biggest available venue and it just happened to be in Wales

Your probably right, and it didn't need any locals on the bill as it sold out regardless. Shame a few couldn't get on even if it didn't make the PPV.
