WBSS Cruiserweight Semi Finals

Post by Taansend »

What a set of fights.

Yunier Dorticos, Cuba, 22(21)-0 against Murat Gassiev, Russia, 25(18)-0.

The winner of that will meet the winner of.....

Oleksandr Usyk, Ukraine, 13(11)-0 against Mairis Briedis, Latvia, 23(18)-0.

A combined 83 (68) - 0 record. Against some top notch fighters too.

I'd love it if the two semi finals were on the same bill. They won't be though....

All excellent Amateurs anything can happen in these fights as they can all bang.. I think not with a great deal of confidence that it's will be Usyk v Dorticos in the final

Cruiserweights were an excellent choice for the WBSS, I can't think of any other division where all the top fighters would be willing to take part.

Usyk is still my pick, but any of the four have a real chance of winning. Which is exactly how it should be.
