Russians don't use a word "niggerr". A word for blacks used by Russians is "negr" (direct analog of English "negro") which could be misinterpreted by an incompetent translator as "niggerr".

Mentioning somebody's nationality or race when referring to people is what Russians do. Kovalev is about as racist as an average Russian.

Probably because people are so easily offended, and view things through their own bias, like you're proving. It's worthless to be super PC like most athletes are supposed to be. People will always find something to complain about.

Racist isn't a yes or no but a matter of degree.

I give Kovalev some slack here because he's an Eastern European boxer. It's not his job to know everything about the history of racism on other continents.

As I said if he was a serious racist, like a 10 out of 10, he wouldn't have black trainers.
