Good luck to anyone trying to use Cardiff public transport on Saturday, it’s garbage on a normal day let alone when there’s an event on.

I wonder if the local plod will greet fans at the train station and make a welcoming corridor full of coppers down to a local pub, ensure they are all locked in until the next train and then call time 3hrs before the main event starts.

Or that might just be the treatment of pompey fans in cardiff. Never going back

I Was planning on just pre-booking one of the NCP's quite near the venue and walking down. Online it says it would be £22 for 17.00 to 01.00 which I think would cover it. Anyone with experience of local knowledge got any thoughts? I am not fussed about the money, for the lack of hassle I would pay double to be honest as it will be late and I want to get out and drive back to hotel in Bristol.

I’m surprised the Police allowed Millwall and Boxing same day/night.

I’ve parked there a few times. Decent enough, kind of on the outskirts of the city centre but still only a 10/15 minute walk to the stadium.

In all the years I've been following pompey and of all the away games ive been to. The only trouble i have seen is at derby games with them up the road.

99% of football fans are just out for a few beers, follow there team and have a laugh.

If the plod relax themselves then they will find the fans will be more relaxed but situations like we had at cardiff instantly gets backs up.
