Dorticos ko Kudryashov but we all know his chin is weak
thats why Gassiev win impress me more and bet on him in Gas-Dort fight

Definitely, Gassiev's body shot is the most impressive.

there isn't anywhere close to same speed difference as ggg-jacobs. dorticos really isnt that fast and he throws lots of wide shots that travel longer than need to. dont know why ppl depict him as a quick, really athletic smooth boxing type. more like an upright bruising banger with some skills, punch variety, and average speed. of course he'll seem fast compared to defenseless sloth kudryahsov.

watch his fight with kalenga if you want to see a war. funny how now ppl treat that as a dominant victory when it was ultra competitive and rightfully reported as a fight of the year war at the time. dorticos realyl struggled mid rounds and was down on cards, although i had him up one round (or even, i forget). kalenga is tough but very limited and not in gassievs league for power.

Kalenga looked pretty good against Lebedev too.

i think it was power more than fuel. dorticos was looking ragged and kalenga was going hard after him but then got caught and hurt again. dorticos looked utterly exhausted and relieved at the end. kalenga really only deserved 3 rounds against leb and leb kd was off balance. leb didnt have nearly as grueling time.

but my issue more with ppl acting a year later like it was dominant performance. it wasnt at all, the articles at the time rightly call it fight of year contender and highly compeittive. kalenga is okay but not even close to gassiev's league. can you imagine gassiev losing to that south african kevin guy.

all the guys are good enough to not be totally written off i think.

but i personally think dort really flattered by kud and rank him 4th out of the 4 left. you couldnt have matched him with a better opponent in the tournament to make him look good. kudrashov slow, chinny, open. can only punch and is always going to get hit/hurt first against top ten opponents. already ko in 2 by durodola not long ago. dorticos not first to do it, and not even first within last two years.

no coinicdence that after beating kudryhshov suddenly far more ppl are crazy about dorticos. but i have seen his other fights and believe hes really good but not quite at level of usyk and gassiev.

from watching a lot of dorticos i think ppl are exaggerating how crafty he is, though obviously hed look crafty against someone as limited as kudryashov. he a big strong , hard hitting guy with average speed and good punch variety. throws a lot of wide, looping shots. not sold on his durability. was kod in ams, down in pros by eric fields, and facial expression of being put through hell by kalenga.

gassiev is a come forward stalker with slow feet, average hand speed, but very strong, durable, and with tighter punch technique. i think hell eventually get to dorticos. but like i said, all of the four are good enough not to be written off.

He doesn't "wait". He prepares that punch by throwing many lighter punches and a few stronger punches and not allowing his opponent to relax for a second. It is exactly what Golovkin does. The question is how close Gassiev is to Golovkin in other skills.

not sold on chin. certainly dont think its gassiev level. he was down against fields and kod as an amateur multiple times. kalenga was obviously bothering him too though he got through it. compare that to gassiev just walking through ledbevs shots like theyre nothing.
