Yes, but did Brewster have a fight lined up against another champion? No. This fight was signed on the dotted line before the Jan 7th fight. Now, if Floyd doesn't take this fight in April, his last fight was in January, and seeing as everyone around him has been busy recently, you think he would fight again before July? That's a 7 month layoff, no fighter should ever take that long off in the prime of their career because of a fight not being as big. Obviously, the amount people are talking about it, it's still a pretty big fight. It seems to be Floyd's toughest challenge, and can be his toughest challenge if the good Zab shows up. However, if lazy, overconfident Zab shows up, he's fucked.
People wanted this fight, it got signed. Zab lost, now people are blaming Floyd for sticking to his word, when before he'd say he'd fight anyone and take some B level opponents...funny how quickly things change. They get what they want and it's not what they want anymore so they take it out on Floyd....good game.
Does Judah stand ANY chance with Floyd?
well stated, matt!!Mattyp151 wrote:Yes, but did Brewster have a fight lined up against another champion? No. This fight was signed on the dotted line before the Jan 7th fight. I just cannot see Mayweather posting a TKO, he looked good against Gatti, but I just feel people are making too much about Judah's chin, coupled with Floyd's power. Pretty boy does not have one punch power, he has power in bulk, and I cannot see Zab getting tagged continously without him moving. But I can see Juddah connecting once or twice and having Mayweather in trouble.
THough still, too much class, too much speed, Mayweather close UD.
