Just seen the interview with Hearn. He's basically saying Degale wanted more money than he was willing to pay for a warm up fight.

I heard awhile back that Crolla is on a short term deal with Hearn and Brook wont make any money fighting Light-Middles.
W@rren might be able to tempt them over...

Feel like Frank is taking advantage of Eddie's attempts to cross over. Hearn will have his fingers in all these pies, but his hand might get burned, and Frank's there eating the cooling patisseries whilst Fast Car has his hands under the cold tap.

That's a bit different lol. AJ is the biggest draw in boxing, he's satisfied with what he's making.

Can’t see Brook ever going back to FW.

Take Anthony Joshua away and who the hell does Eddie have??

A washed up Brook, an old Bellew, an ageing Burns and Ant C, inexperienced Olympians, no right hand Whyte, Callum Smith (good boxer but no charisma), Rocky Fielding and a few dodgy sub 130lb boxers....

Is he? Canelo-GGG was globally much, much bigger than any AJ fight could be. Even Wilder or Fury. I feel Camp Eddie exaggerates his worldwide superstardom.

As much as I agree Eddie chats shite AJ has just done back to back stadium shows shifting all but a few tickets and is doing decent numbers on SLY box office .

So In that respect he is a massive massive draw .
Selling the amount he has for a mandatory defence in Cardiff is a huge achievement.

Are there even any welsh fighters on the show at all? To my knowledge there isn’t.

There’s a lad at work who honestly knows shite all about the sport says he will always buy AJ fights and I’m sure it’s the same all over the country

FW has a good relationship with Bob Arum and Top Rank though and the WBO, so perhaps they're chasing the Ramirez fight.
I've always thought it was down to the Froch fight not happening.
Same here. I think Degale has been quite hard to promote to be fair.
He's an Olympic Gold Medalist.. That's simply how you sell him.. I do believe a Froch fight would have made him..

I agree for about 6 rounds, with degale going all out. He would never have made the final bell and is tough enough to have taken a severe beating.

Good move by Frank.

Both men will no doubt have tune ups in December, but in the new year Selby vs Warrington has been mandated and after Selby deals with him it will probably be on to an outdoor event next summer in Belfast vs Frampton.

Degale on the other hand, never seems to get his career going for more than a few months at a time, regardless of who promotes him. He will probably just tread water until the WBSS is done and look to face the winner, as long as it isn't Smith of course.
