Fullmer would have beaten Hearns even quicker...

Lesser fighter than Hearns doesnt mean a bad fighter. For example Billy Graham was not a better fighter than Hearns and he outboxed both of them. A welter Hearns freakish size, skill and crippling power would be more than a handful for either of those two. Both of them would have to land alot of punches to stop Hearns; no way could either outbox him. And yes Ive seen several fight films of Basillio and Galivan. Ive also seen Hearns fight, and my opinion is that he would have beaten them both.

Well actually it wasnt me that did the Ray Leanord Jones thing, and I completely explained why I chose this matchup...... If you read my reasoning and then make a comment I'll be glad to engage you on that subject. I'll say again I chose the "Boxrec" classification system.

Speed isn't everything, durability and strength is also important and both Basilo and Gavilan were far stronger and more durable than Hearns... also Gavilan was not exactly slow... he had very fast hands and threw loads of punches...
