I think so, I think he makes the second half. He is cute enough and tough enough to ride out the storm before getting tagged more often. Joshua TKO 9.

He wasn’t gassed. He got involved, punched himself out a bit and got tagged in the process, then went in to a sort of recovery/time off mode. Regained his composure once he realised he’d taken Wlads best shot and applied the pressure when needed. He seemed to be enjoying it from rounds 7-9 weirdly, smiling and talking to Wlad. If he’d have simply gassed he’d have lost that fight.

Too heavy at 18 stone imo but that’s modern heavies I guess. Takam is a short arse relatively speaking yet he’s over 17 stone. Can be argued both are too heavy!

At 6’6 I think Joshua should be just over 17 stone. Maybe he feels more comfortable being heavier?
His chat at Wlad and Vitali at the stoppage was a great moment. He loved the tear up and put any doubts about guts or heart firmly in their place that night.

I'd love Takam to do it. I always dislike overhyped fighters.

a bit ridiculous those that coughed up the money - misses the early fights.

On a side.... when is the last time Buffer has featured on showtime (no counting joint ventures with HBO).

Joshua looks like hes come in for power at that poundage. Takam will be shipping right hands as early as 30 seconds into the contest. Can he land his own right hands by way of response? Or will his cheeks be blowing like a set of bellows as the Watford man unloads crisp punches to the heavy skull of the man from France.

Richards did very little first round.

Buglioni usually eats right hands. You can't be hesitant to throw them against him.

That's my call Leprachaun - I'm predicting a very early win and everyone will be hailing it as a career best performance. I don't see the fuss in Takam at all. He's in his mid 30s and I just don't see the fuss. Povetkin hurt him and stopped him - One thing Povetkin lacks is concussive KO power.

Think Joshua KO's him in about 3.

Had Buglioni winning 118-111, thought it was a decent fight, credit to Richards I didn't think he'd last 12 rounds with a strong, busy fighter like Buglioni but I was glad he did, he's a tidy boxer, slips the punches well off the ropes and countered well, his accuracy was pretty good but he wasn't busy enough and lost a few of the earlier rounds especially on workrate, Buglioni just walked him down and as Richards tired Buglioni started to find the target more and more

I would've liked to have seen Buglioni work the body a bit more, when Richards was shoulder rolling on the ropes and making Frank miss, Buglioni could've maybe done a little less headhunting because Richards avoided most of the punches, Richards can come again he's a tidy boxer and showed he's tough as well and can hang in there even when he's tired, another fairly measured performance from Buglioni, he's definitely not as gung ho as he used to be but he's still aggressive and his workrate is phenomenal
