Not sure his record shows he's garbage. He was on a good run pre Klitchsko (and actually had Klitchsko badly hurt) and then he beat Chisora quite handily for me.

agree i dont think aj really looked like he was about to get a stoppage. takam didnt really seem that hurt and was still defending. takam crafty and knows his way out of those situations.

Slowing, but he was close to actually earning a stoppage. It’s ruined it for Joshua as much as he has for Takam.
It wasn't looking like Joshua was gonna stop him at all. I think Takam was gonna last the distance, and by all rights should've been able to. He wasn't taking excessive punishment.
He was hurting him right then when the ref stepped in, he’d buzzed him just earlier and was stepping ou his attack, he was looking for the stoppage there. Ref was way too soon, but he was looking to end the fight when the ref stepped in.

Exactly, one of 'em was about to go. 9-1 in favour of Joshua, sure, but it wasn't a done deal.

Put Phil Edwards in with Terry O'Connor and Howard Foster. Awful referees not to be trusted.

No, you said the ref was trying to stop him on the cut because he was bought.

Nonsense.

I am not into watching women’s boxing. Do it by all means but I’m not interested.

I remember watching first pro women’s fight Christy Martin vs some no hoper that got chinned. I felt physically ill. Also some really tall girl getting spectacularly chinned. I didn’t like watching it at all. I have no interest in seeing women hurt and no real man should. Eubank Snr said real men should be protective of women not watch them batter each other. That’s how I feel.

Amateur boxing - ok.
Vonda Ward Vs Ann Wolfe...BOOOM!
That was it. Horrible. Horrible

I'm not liking that stoppage, thought the ref was a bit quick there, Joshua was starting to open him and hurt him but Takam may have been on his way out but he looked fine as soon as it was stopped, BS IMO, wasn't bowled over by Joshua tonight, a bit one paced, only used his jab in spurts and he struggled to find the target with his right hand, he won every round and I expected this to go late, I'm not surprised Takam made it this far, he's a tough cookie and he never allowed Joshua to sustain any attacks, he's quick on his legs and is hard to hit clean, lovely knockdown for Joshua with the left hook in the 4th, his left was probably his best shot tonight

Yeah he was looking for about fifteen seconds. No idea why, Takam was game all the way through and deserved better.

Please please please have a neutral referee for these fights
Japan TEND to bring in 4 neutral officials for world title fights. TBH that should be a worldwide thing!

In no way would Joshua reign in a 'live' HW division, he looks far better in training than when he actually fights

I know he shew grit & heart in Klitschko fight, and Klitschko fought very well, but Klitschko was still getting on..

AJ is reigning b/c the talent pool in the HW div is jank

That's the only reason
I think the reason every reigning boxer has reigned is because they are better than the rest of the division.....
Joshua is better than a much less that Stellar current crop

Hardly impressive

fury would easily box his ears off

Such a shame he ain't active

X2. That was such bullshit. Sure it’s not lost on anybody that by that criteria Joshua would have been stopped by the ref at least twice in the Klit fight. Shocking double standards.

I'm sure in the next hour Tyson will be tweeting about his comeback which isn't happening.
