So in the Joshua Vs Takam world title fight. We had a British guy Vs a Frenchman. The referee was British and one of the 3 judges was British. I've not seen many people talk about this so wanted to make a quick poll to see what others think.
I really don't understand with the thousands of referees and judges that this practice isn't against the rules of boxing in word title fights. Surely it's go to change?

It depends on the official. Foreign officials accommodation etc is still put up by the promoter so there's the sniff of bias if you want to look for it in any situation. Anyone who has watched boxing for a while in the UK know who the biased officials are, you can tell by just observing the referee and who he's staring at. If you are an away fighter and you have any of Phil Edwards, IJL, Dave Parris and Terry O'Conner working the fight then you will know you are away from home. Conversely I think Howard Foster, Steve Gray, Marcus McDonnell and John Keane are some of the best in the world, everyone will make the occasional mistake though.
