i feel like bellew is actualy pretty underrated tbh. hes like one of these guys who was pegged to be at a certain level, and when he surpassed it ppl didnt shift their opinions.

I was one of those ppl to be honest,I thought bellew would be british and commonwealth and thats it but after the haye fight and i seen the tears of joy on his face i realised he has done great for the skills he has (skills which i underrated too). This has truth to it but I think it’s a case of the people he beat to reach these supposed levels, weren’t really at them levels themselves. I’m glad he has made good money from his career, just like I am for any fighter that earns well, they all should imo, but he’s had a jammy list of opponents to land himself his ‘world champion’ stature.
