When Hughie Fury was set to fight Joseph Parker I started to check him out. Initially I thought he may be a bit like Tyson. So I listened to interviews and checked out his Twitter feed.
Boy was I wrong.

i dont like the cliche arrogant fighter like o hara davies
i like confident fighter like woodstock
but the dull personalities are people like dubois flannagan and pigford
two of those do come alive when fighting

Dubois is only a kid to be fair. Not many 20 year olds would be comfortable having a mic and camera shoved in their face for the first time.

What about 'Funtime' Frankie? Might just be the accent but he sends me to sleep. Doesn't help that he always seems to making excuses or feeling sorry for himself.

I remember reading an article about 25 years ago about post fight boxing interviews.

The author wrote (something like).....

Imagine having just f*cked the sh!t out of someone for an hour while being punched in the head. Then straight after you climax someone shoves a Mic in your face and says "tell me about it".

Ok, that's a strange analogy but you get the point :OhYes:
