It’s his last fight at BW. How he made it for so long is beggars belief.
Disappointing recent reign IMO. Don’t forget he’s only the WBA regular champion. Not been a ‘proper’ world champion recently.

Should of gone after Warren or Haskins during his reign for a full title.

Also gutted he can’t make weight anymore as him against Burnett would of been a good fight.
See, I don't understand, how long does a boxer need to hold the regular title before challenging the super champion? Doesn't the WBA eventually mandate it?

There was discussions for him to Fight Rigo at Super Bant last year, after Rigo broke Dickens' jaw. Maybe that fight could happen.
Held loads of discussion with Raushee Warren but fight never got made and WBA never enforced it.
don't think the belts are high on his to do list, its just the best paydays he is after

They did actually.

But then Warren ducked the fight and the WBA did nothing because they are an abomination to boxing.

Warren should have been stripped of the title for refusing to defend against his mandatory challenger. Just like Leo Santa Cruz should have been for refusing to fight Abner Mares a few weeks ago.

Decision wins he doesn't deserve, and now a No Contest in a rematch of one of those undeserved decisions. Jamie McDonnell is quite the escape artist. I know today's injury was unavoidable, but it's crazy how something always happens to save his title.

The ref was a fanny there, he was desperate to stop it, basically forced the doc to stop it, would've been good to see the corner get to work on it, it was starting to hot up, Solis started off sharp and aggressive again, McDonnell struggled to land his jab

Jamie def moving up now.

Not sure what's there for him. Possibly Vargas who beat Gav.

Gutted for Solis. He deserves a good fight

Burnett should fight him. If Burnett doesn't ( I think he will fight Butler now). Tete should fight him rather than some nobody.

Talking about butler v solis for Jamie's vacant title.

F**king outrageous. Hearn already has the WBA champion.

Butler solis is actually a good fight but would be disgusting if the wba had a fake world title on the line for it.

Would be the only way joe Gallagher would have butler fight solis though.

Accidental clash of heads in the third round so no scorecards

No Contest. Hadn't been enough rounds yet to render a decision.

Void - they didn't offer no decision - if you can't win you can't lose.

Head clash has nothing to do with several hard points fights, almost all of which he closed the show extremely strongly.

I think this is ambitious matchmaking from Harlem Eubank's handlers. Let's hope he comes through it.
