There was one a fortnight ago, on Sky.

For me...........
1) Demote Adam Smith. Still keep him as he puts on aesthetically decent productions but keep him in the background
2) Tell Eddie to streamline his stable (maybe clear out the deadwood and bring in some new talent)
3) Bring back Prize fighter for one season covering all divisions in the UK
4) Get rid of Nelson, Froch and Smigga and make Andy Lee, Macklin, Bellew and Andy Scott more prominent
5) Bring in a trio of Ronald McIntosh, Ian Darke and Jim Rosenthal
Bonus Point - Tell D Whyte to get some punching power..............
So you would demote yourself?!? Smith is the head of boxing isnt he?

Met Adam Smith on Saturday. Brief chat with him.

To be fair he’s a really sound fella.

I think that's one of the problems, his stable is streamlined to such a point now, who's he got left?

Frampton, Warrington, Selby, DeGale all boxing for Frank...we were one Klitschko knockout punch away from a big balance of power shift in April.

With all the free talent off to allegedly, Amir Khan's the only one on the market. I'd demand Eddie agrees a deal with King Khan over his next couple of fights. Khan vs Prescott 2, followed by Khan vs Eggington.

Hell no, but we could take bets on how long before he says "It's not a tickling contest."

Hatton has a bunch of recycled expressions which grow old about ten years ago.
Hahahhaha yup. If he caught [enter the name of any half decent boxer] in bed with his wife he’d tuck him in!

Next Gen is rubbish. Small hall shows should be meaningful 50/50 English/British Titles, give those titles meaning, let British level fighters have the exposure, and then let your stars of the future fight for them.
Watching the likes of Okolie knock over a Hungarian bin men does nothing for me.

For me World/Euro football is the same, i dont wanna see England play Luxembourg, Andorra, Faroe Islands. Luxembourg, Andorra and all those should be playing each other in a qualifying tournament for the right to play England.

Stop all these bullshit one sided cards in which the home fighter fights for a bullshit titles such as the wbo european title or the ibf northern hemisphere intercontinental belt against dogshit international opposition. Make the promoters match british prospects with each other for domestic honours. 99% of home fighters win their bouts. Its getting boring

I think for the most part Eddie Hearn has done really well. I think he's delivered a lot of opportunities for fighters.

I agree that it would be good to have a few journalists from time to time. Nice to have the mix with ex-pros.

I like Anna Woolhouse. She just presents. I think she's excellent at just heading up the show.

Agree that the commentators need to realise that less is more. And please, please, please...when it's a close fight lets have one person adapt to put the other side of the argument. I feel Barry Jones is the best boxing commentator/analyst... He will step back and point out that his opinion may be misleading...and he will give credit to both fighters. Sometimes on SKY it feels like they ignore one man's work...the US has always been guilty of this too.

You need allegedly back on the scene!

I always remember the epic night of boxing on PPV when Tyson Vs Holyfield 1 was announced. 8 world title fights - no WBU rubbish either. :box:

Benn, Collins, Hamed, Winky Wright, Carl Thompson, Michael Brodie, Michael Gomez & Danny Williams all on the English bill then over to the states for another 5 world title fights!

Phew.... That's what I call value for money! :TU:

Get Nelson and Smith out immediately. Jim Rosenthal and Dempsey would be fantastic to have. Macklin and Andy Lee are good, you'd probably also need somebody with a bit more presence - I wouldn't mind seeing Paulie more involved or even Lennox. Get rid of all the Matchroom cheerleaders. Also cut the UK exclusive with Hearn and let some more promoters in on a deal by deal basis.

He also brought us Khan vs Salita on PPV, so let’s not get too misty-eyed.
