Kabayel vs Chisora, most interesting HW fight this weekend

Sounds to me like quite a close fight, Kabaley is the talent, Chisora the experienced guy.
Really hard to predict in my opinion, what about you guys?

I agree with it being the most interesting fight of the weekend. I almost made a thread about it. Agit Kabayel = totally untested, undefeated dude in boxrec's top 40. Chisora = super thoroughly tested dude who is lacking momentum right now. If Chisora wins, he's totally back in business, so get him right back in the saddle with another top 15 opponent. If Kabayel wins, then he becomes an unambiguously legit contender, and it adds another properly tested fighter to the ranks (which they are grievously lacking in).

And as far as competitiveness goes, I'm expecting Chisora to win, but you don't really know. On the other hand, Wilder - Stiverne is going to be an awful fight in which Wilder gets the stoppage victory this time around round 9-10. Breazeale - Molina is going to be a pretty mediocre fight in which Breazeale gets the stoppage probably at round 11, but it's hard to say, since Arreola flattened Molina in a fraction of one round. Absolutely no suspense about those two fights.

I figure Chisora can probably take this guy. Not sure if Kabayel can take a good punch or not so I'm not sure if it'll be a KO or Decision, but I figure Chisora's got it one way or the other.

Most people now voted Kabayel, nobody openly somehow, which I can understand.

i voted for Chisora. i am not a big fan of Chisora's talent, but i am just not impressed with Kabayel. seems to be Euro level guy, potentially top 30 at best. i have seen him only twice though. once when he ko'ed a total bum in Poland in about 9 seconds with bodyshot, and second time vs Olokoun (it was like 3 years ago) and it was a very even fight. i know he KO'ed then undefeated Lewandowski (but this guy got KO'ed later by some unknown guy) but did not see it. Kabayel is big, physically strong, but i doubt his skills, his chin is not tested, he may have a decent punch though. but at this stage, from what i seen in Chisora's fights vs Pulev and Whyte, in shape Dereck and his experience could be too much for the Turk born in Germany. and i except Dereck to be prepared well, he sparred with Mariusz Wach

That was a pretty dull fight...I really hope one of the ones later is better as that was poor and Kyotaro Vs Rayment was pretty crap too

This was a nice win for Kabayel as he outworked the seasoned warhorse Chisora en route to the decision win.
It's nice to see some new faces arise in the division & shake things up. Who knows? Maybe Kabayel will even bring some prestige & legitimacy back to the EBU heavyweight title.

It is pretty sad that lasting the distance is all it takes nowadays to win a boxing match.

Disappointed in Chisora.

Every time it looks like he's taking the fight game seriously, he lets himself down.

He came in too heavy again & just didn't do enough until it was too late.

At times, he made Kabayel look like Muhammad Ali!

Chisora is never going to be better than Euro level & Kabayel himself isn't going to be unless he too gets himself into proper shape.

He looks like if he trained properly, he'd be a cruiserweight!
