Stiverne Defeats Wilder
Stiverne Defeats Wilder
I don't understand why no one is giving Stiverne a shot to upset Wilder tonight. I was following Stiverne prior to his first fight with Wilder and I've seen the ability and power that he's displayed inside the ring that I deemed as "special". I was so excited to see that "special" ability up against Wilder's balky resume of victims and loud mouth in the first fight. From the first minute of the fight, I noticed that this was not the same Stiverne. Everything was off...I thought that perhaps either I was wrong or the moment proved to be too big and lights too bright for the soft spoken champ, Stiverne.
The truth was that Stiverne was hurt and injuries prohibited him from turning on that "special" talent that some of us have noticed. I think that the horrible performance in the first fight will end up being Stiverne's saving grace in the second because I really don't think that Wilder has any idea what kind of fight he could be in for tonight if the right Stiverne shows up. I'm putting a large healthy bet on Stiverne because I think he's going to take Wilder out tonight. Do the same and thank me later.

You don't get to be a top ten ranked heavyweight unless you are good. That said I hope you aren't betting too much. Stiverne does look in good shape, (edit: I just saw his weigh in picture with his fat gut, so I take that back)caldo2025 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 06:40 I don't understand why no one is giving Stiverne a shot to upset Wilder tonight. Stiverne is a zero draw with zero potential to make any of the powers that B any $. Soo he's been bought off and will either dive or tank the fight like he did last time. Wilder is the franchise fraud being built up to try to be a money maker. Any one who thinks Stiverne has any chance to win a round here is a novice boxing observer who has no understanding of how the business works or how corrupt haymon sulaiman and the networks are.

That fatso Stiverne is getting KOd.
Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
When was Stiverne made the replacement in this fight? About 4 weeks ago. That’s how much training hes done. It’s not enough.....you can tell. I’d be very surprised it goes the distance. I wouldn’t be surprised with a ko in the first 3.

Unless Wilder is some sort of new fangled kebab or tower burger, Stiverne isn't defeating Wilder.
Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
This really focked with me for a second. Did I miss it?
It would be pretty funny if it happened, I'll admit that. THere'd be some very happy posters here.

Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
He arguably got beaten by a guy who got knocked out in 4 rounds by a rank 100 cruiserweight and he got smashed all through the ring for four rounds by an amateur. How on earth could this guy have any chance against any heavyweight world champion in history?
Only if Wilder suddenly gets a heart attack Stiverne might win, but the chance is higher that Stiverne himself will get a heart attack with the doping he uses.
If Stiverne dies because of this match, I will blame the WBC.

Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
Nobody is giving Stiverne a shot because Stiverne doesn't have much of a shot. He couldn't get it done the first time they fought. He's older, and fatter this time...he has even less of a shot now than he had the 1st time...and he lost the 1st time.caldo2025 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 06:40 I don't understand why no one is giving Stiverne a shot to upset Wilder tonight. Whatever bet you got on him...you're gonna lose that money.
Also you said Stiverne needed to turn on that "special" talent. I've seen Stiverne fought multiple times...he's never looked remotely special to me. In fact I'd say if not for his punching power, I wouldn't even be surprised if he had a losing record. His punching power is the one and only thing that bails him out a lot of the time. He was getting shut out by Ray Austin FFS...years ago when he was in his "prime" no less.
Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
1. he didn't look good in the first one.
2. he has been out of the ring for long.

this is another obviously easy win for
deontay, yet can be somehow made
look like a legit defense.

Deontay won the first fight essentially one handed, other than a lucky punch what's changed?

Stiverne was one of the least deserving title challengers. the fact he was kept at number 1 for a second shot shows how utterly corrupt the WBC is.
Only an idiot would pay for this.

I hope wilder smashes this guy out
If you can’t be bothered to be in shape for the fight you don’t deserve the fight.
Smash up Stiverne then onto the next fight please

Are people really up in this post saying Stiverne looks in good physical shape and has "special" talents?

This is basically caldo's last post before he faces eternal humiliation and creates a different account.

Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
He was training to fight Breazeale, so theoretically he has had the same amount to time to get into shape as Wilder has. The glaring fact is that he is not in shape. At least he dosent look dehydrated

Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
If Stiverne turns it into a blitzkrieg then he may have an outside chance, slightly less than Tubbs had against Tyson. Anything more than four rounds is too long a distance for him. Heavyweight boxing is nothing if not an enormous energy drain.
Then there are those who say he won't win because he is not allowed to win. Whichever way you look at it, it's difficult to see Stiverne standing at the final bell.

Re: Stiverne Defeats Wilder
Stiverne's chance of winning is 1 in 1000... He needs to be almost as lucky as a lottery mega millions winner... Like that little kid told his dad when he failed to win the lottery... "Your chances of winning were the same as being mauled by a polar bear and a regular bear on the same day"
Stiverne should do what Hasim Rahman did... Load a shot and throw with all his might... Pray a fly zooms up Wilder's nose at that instant.
