Think Quigg is a KO waiting to happen. Was never going to be tonight though!

Quigg is crude as hell, same tactics as the Simion fight, just walk forward swinging wildly, Yefimovych boxed well to begin with and he was outboxing Quigg quite easily, Quigg finally started to break him down and the end was nigh for Yefimovych but the stoppage was a bit early for me

The Ukrainian lad wasn't completely on his arse or defenceless. Bit early for me.
You wouldn't have bet against Quigg finishing it sooner rather than later, but there could just as well have been an epic comeback.
Unlikely, but far from impossible. He landed on Quigg a few times, and always would with Quiggs style.

Mavrovic went into the Lewis fight with a wasting disease which later retired him. I used to live a few doors down from his trainer, Darkie Smith! Great man to have a chinwag with.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑03 Nov 2017, 13:06Yeh, the European title shouldn't be made vacant after none or one defence. Fighters used to defend the title many times before finally vacating, and that was because they landed a world title fight potentially.Naandrew wrote: ↑03 Nov 2017, 12:52Its just a shame the true European title ( EBU ) isn't what is used to be. It should be held in very high regard and used to develop fighters.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑03 Nov 2017, 12:48
I hadn't seen Kabayel until this picture I just posted above. Kabayel weighed 225 pounds, looks in good shape.. Chisora weighed 254, same as what AJ weighed.. But obviously Chisora always weighs around that amount..
Kabayel looks content.. I don't believe he will pushover.. but he certainly is untested. Chisora should be given good credit if he comes out with a decision win, even more if he stops Kabayel.
Now they just get these inter-contential belts and bought rankings.
In the 90's, Zeljko Mavrovic made like 6 defences. only vacated to fight Lennox Lewis for the WBC title, lost a wide decision, and then never fought again. His only loss.. Strange.

Strange setting, looks like it's set in the local town hall, not many there for a European title fight.
Whyte got the nod in their classic fight of the year. Yet Whyte fights some guy who was only interested in surviving and Chisora's going for the European title.
It reminds me of Bradley Skeete beating Eggy then E cashing in while Skeete didn't.
I'm finding it difficult to split them early on. Both are trying to dominate and both are having their moments but neither are able to take over.
