Deontay says.....

Post by horndawg80 »

“A-juicing” 😂😂😂
I agree. WBC is clean boxing. Deontay said what everyone knows
Wilder was very good tonight and he does leave people cold. Why should he come to England to give AJ home advantage? Don’t bore me with the he’s the PPV star!!! Deontay has been champion the longest....

Personally I want the fight in the US as I live here but......

Wilder earns $1-$3 million a fight & in front of smallish crowds.

Joshua has made 15 million quid in each of his last two fights (roughly $20m) & has fought in front of more people this year (about 170,000 in 2 fights) than Wilder has in his entire 10 year, 39 fight career.

Deontay has been Champion longer but Joshua's two opponents this year are better than any he has faced.

So that's your 'argument' put to rest.

Basically, wherever they can make the most money is where they should fight. It's professional boxing.

But if they don't meet what can Wilder do? Joshua can make over 50 million pounds if Fury wins one comeback fight & if Haye can beat Bellew. If neither of those happen he can fight Parker for $25m. Joshua has more option than Wilder.

I really want this fight to happen as a fan of both.

Whatever.
Who wants to listen to 70,000 Joshua cheerleading casuals at Wembley? No thanks.

Wilder was spot on in his post interview... the ‘apple juice’ is evident to everyone

He was texting while you was 'splaining it. Try again :yay:
Your right though, AJ has far more options, he has at least 4-5 big stadium fights and £10,000,000 a shot = Mayweather Money. With or without Wilder.

Haha @ teenager.
Team Joshua out in force...
Reasoning for neutral venue: Edward will pay off the Ref, allow Joshua to hit after the bell and ultimately the crowd backing is a bonus.

Has Joshua signed up to clean boxing programme do we know?

Whatevs

As I said, I want the fight in Vegas. Or Wilders hometown. I can drive there. Actually how about the Daytona Beach Racetrack? Over 100,000 capacity. I can guarantee at 25,000 British fans would come over. Not sure how many Wilder would bring but I'm guessing it would be less.

I like both fighters. I want this fight. Preferably in America for selfish reasons. But Joshua brings five times more to the table financially.

As for the drugs thing, I don't even think about that stuff. One or the other might be juicing. Maybe neither. Maybe both. Until someone gets caught it's pointless me giving it a moments thought.

One other thing. And this is a serious question.

If you think boxers are drug cheats & the promoters are paying off the Ref why do you follow boxing? I love the sport. Sounds to me like you're not really a fan anymore. This is not a dig. Just an observation. It's like going to a restaurant where you think the chicken is actually pigeon but you still go there anyway. Then complain. Then go back.

I do think wilder will beat AJ and i think AJ would earn more money if he went over to US to fight wilder as the PPV prices in the states are about $49.99 were as in England they are £19.95 probably pushed up to £25 for this fight so he would earn about £10 more per sale in the states and he would still get the ppv from UK aswell so for me AJ should go to vegas and fight there, build himself up in the states

If I was Wilder I'd go after the unification with Parker first. 2 belts would be handy in the negotiations

I see Wilder as a genuine 50/50 fight. It'll start off slowly and probably finish as soon as one of em opens up. Could be a case of who lands first.

No issues if people think wilder wins cos of x y or z, but I suggest we don’t feed the troll with replies

Not sure tbh mate. Wilder looks to have the bigger arms and is very awkward. He's just slightly taller than AJ at 6'7 I think. AJ is more compact and punches straight. Could take him a while to figure Wilder out as he wont want to commit too early. Both guys defences aren't the greatest either so that's why I think it'll be a case of who lands their power shots first. Would love these two guys to fight and Fury to batter Parker in his comeback and face the winner :TU: Wishful thinking though man!
