Wilder showed some brutal power today
Wilder showed some brutal power today
No matter how bad Stiverne is. You could hear those fornicating hard shots landing on Stiverne's head.
That first staight shot was similiar like Wladimir did land on Joshua.

it was like punching the bag as hard as you can because Stiverne was not moving, not throwing punches, not defending himself effectively

So what ?:D How many shots did Whyte land on Helenius? For example ...

Stiverne just looked like he fears a lot - after first knockdown you could see in his eyes that there is no way he wins and he knows that
Whyte is just very mediocre. Wilder punches hard, but i think Joshua or Povetkin could smash this version of Stiverne in similar fashion

You know what they call pro wrestling? Sports entertainment. Not a real sport but "sports entertainment".
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
He threw one body jab as far as I saw.dagilechia wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 00:26 it was like punching the bag as hard as you can because Stiverne was not moving, not throwing punches, not defending himself effectively
Pathetic.
It devalues Wilder IMO. Sure he took out a guy who made him go the distance, but when that guy was not even there to fight it was just terrible. It's not Wilders fault Stiverne was so bad, I don't blame Wilder at all. I just can't understand why Stiverne waited so long for a chance to fight Wilder and came in so badly out of shape? He had a punchers chance all along, albeit a slim one?

Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
The first knockdown punch sounded like someone hit a softball with a bat. I think Wilder really wanted to hurt him. Frightening power.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Why wouldn't he? Did Stiverne throw a meaningful punch at him at any point?
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Being hard puncher has notting to do if your opponents trhows something
Imagine Joshua who gasseed out after 5 rounds ... Would he "trhow" anything without any energy? He would be same and easy target like Bermane
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Wilder definitely has the power to hurt anybody, including Joshua, but Joshua wouldn't be a sitting duck like Stiverne was tonight.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Joshua once again has gained some useless weight and muscles. His stamina is worse than Wladimir's and he looked very slow in his last fight.
The real fight is Wilder vs motivated Fury. Joshua will get exposed soon because of all of those muscles and stamina problems
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Wilder or Joshua knock out Fury easy as sh*t. Fury's a fat f*ck.IronFrost wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 00:45

The crowd loved the finish. Here's the crowd roaring along with the last 3 punches as they are shown on the Jumbotron.

I agree with you Iron fister although I believe Fury has significant mental health and won’t be back anytime soon.IronFrost wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 00:45

He won't be back anytime soon because he's a fat, lazy cokehead.

Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Mental Health is an excuse for him to not have to fight again because he knows what a joke he is, and that he's the luckiest man in the world to have won the title in a staring contest. I've covered all this before. If you still buy Tyson Fury as a legit Heavyweight force that's your problem.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
You’ve covered this? You’re the authority on it? No I don’t think he’s a force. He’s done now, I believe he has significant mental health but I did think he was a good boxer. Whether you recognise that or not......that’s your problem.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:05Mental Health is an excuse for him to not have to fight again because he knows what a joke he is, and that he's the luckiest man in the world to have won the title in a staring contest. I mean I've covered this as in I've given my 2 cents on it already multiple times. Not that I'm an authority on it. Although I would say my opinion on Boxing related matters should be taken fairly seriously because I follow the sport with a religious fervor that few match.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
I do respect your dedication that I’ve noticed. But we do have a difference in opinion relating to some things...although if you were to add it up most times I’d be agreeing with you...however wilder, Fury and Aj. To me, there’s not much separating them. I really don’t think AJs special. Yes you disagree, yes so and so stats...that’s fine. I’m fine with that.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:11I mean I've covered this as in I've given my 2 cents on it already multiple times. Not that I'm an authority on it. Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Who says I disagree, when did I ever say AJ was something special? I think he's the best going right now...the division is dog sh*t though. I don't think there is anybody particularly special at Heavyweight at the moment, but a fight between Joshua and Wilder would be special.lazboy wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:29

Fury isn't even relevant to keep talking about to me. He's finished. They said today he needs to lose 7 stone to get back in shape...that's almost 100 f*cking pounds. He's 100 pounds overweight for f*cks sake. He ain't never coming back to fighting form.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Ok well the point was I don’t think there much separating the three. You said Aj and wilder would trash Fury....prime Fury. Yes I agree hea done, fury’s done, he’s not coming back. But we always compare fighters past and present on this site. Fury’s time is over yes, but there’s not much separating them is my opinion.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:31Who says I disagree, when did I ever say AJ was something special? Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
On the best day of Fury's life he still gets knocked out by Anthony Joshua. Probably gets knocked out by Wilder too, but he might be more competitive there. I think he's the Worst Heavyweight Champion of all time myself so whether he could defeat any of these guys or not fact is he didn't even have the balls to defend his title.lazboy wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:36

Anthony Joshua has already made title defenses, Wilder...weak as they are...has made title defenses. Fury got fat, and did coke. He's a joke.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Well no ones perfect, nothing cowardly about him that I can see, he got to the top of his game and left, frustrated a few fans who know nothing of his life and struggles and that’s it really. Bit of a shame as I see him being highly competitive v the top.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 01:38On the best day of Fury's life he still gets knocked out by Anthony Joshua. Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
He frustrated me just in the sense that I would've liked to have seen him knocked out, but never seeing him fight again at all would be the 2nd best thing. He was boring as sh*t.
I don't really care about his personal problems. Nobody had a more f*cked up life story than Johnny Tapia or Matthew Saad Muhammad, and they kept fighting so don't tell me about Fury's "mental health".
I don't think much of Fury, and chances are I never will.
