Yea it does sound like he affected you. Lot of anger there. That was another strength of Fury’s...mind games.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 02:00 He frustrated me just in the sense that I would've liked to have seen him knocked out, but never seeing him fight again at all would be the 2nd best thing. He was boring as sh*t.
I don't really care about his personal problems. Nobody had a more f*cked up life story than Johnny Tapia or Matthew Saad Muhammad, and they kept fighting so don't tell me about Fury's "mental health".
I don't think much of Fury, and chances are I never will.

I'm not the least bit angry. That's just what I think of the guy. Doesn't make me feel one way or another.

Mental health doesn't depend on life being f up.

Stiverne had no intention of turning up.

Joshua once again has gained some useless weight and muscles. His stamina is worse than Wladimir's and he looked very slow in his last fight.
The real fight is Wilder vs motivated Fury. Joshua will get exposed soon because of all of those muscles and stamina problems
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Gils a good poster but I do disagree with his take on fury
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Aye apart from ruining every heavyweight thread by trying to batter any poster into submission who has the temerity to mention Fury in any capacity with his viewpoint he's fine.
Clearly a blind spot where the mere mention of the man's name triggers an uncontrollable reaction. His level of feeling makes it impossible for him to have any objective view on the subject of Fury’s abilities or otherwise as a boxer. He also makes it impossible for others to have a conversation about it either.

That image of Stirverne flopped out at the end was pretty gruesome. Don't get Deontay riled.

Fraud. Stiverne came to eat punches. Easy for Wilder when he knows his opponent is paid to eat his punches. OBVIOUS FIX. Wilder won't open up like that vs Whyte. Oh that's right, his handlers are afraid of Whyte and they manipulated the WBC to freeze out Whyte. Wilder is only allowed to fight hired patsies under the control of Al Haymon
Wilder is a total fraud. It's amazing how many people buy this BS.

Gil is exactly right on Fury. It will probably be worse for Fury if he takes a few of those shots in his midsection. He is an insignificant piece of shitt with a loud mouth. If he does come back, which I doubt, Joshua or Wilder will be his last fight.....whoever gets to him first.

I don’t massively disagree with Gil or you on that part of the fury sagaBadhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 10:56Gil is exactly right on Fury. We have known that Wilder got power for years. Still waiting (for years) to see how he can use it against somebody with skill and power.
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
Wilder will probably get no credit for knocking out Breazeale like Joshua did, but he will probably end up fighting him as a mandatory because Joshua has no intention of fighting Wilder anytime soon. Wilder will gladly pay Breazeale step aside money to fight Joshua, but Joshua won't do the same to fight Wilder. Easy to see who doesn't want the fight.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 13:37 We have known that Wilder got power for years. Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
The only credit Joshua got was a guy took him a few rounds so he got some more experience. Joshua is still a novice in rounds fought, but I don’t remember him getting praise for a methodical beat down of a big guy who took his beating well but had no threat at allBadhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 13:43Wilder will probably get no credit for knocking out Breazeale like Joshua did, but he will probably end up fighting him as a mandatory because Joshua has no intention of fighting Wilder anytime soon. Why would wilder want to pay step aside money for Joshua. According to you belts are worthless so why doesn’t wilder just ditch his so he can save his money paying someone off

But not quite

Pathetic.
It devalues Wilder IMO. Sure he took out a guy who made him go the distance, but when that guy was not even there to fight it was just terrible. It's not Wilders fault Stiverne was so bad, I don't blame Wilder at all. I just can't understand why Stiverne waited so long for a chance to fight Wilder and came in so badly out of shape? He had a punchers chance all along, albeit a slim one?![]()

No excuse for being that out of shape
Re: Wilder showed some brutal power today
This is true but you can't complain about the way Wilder despatched him. Hopefully we'll get the chance to see him turn that artillery toward an adversary worthy of the description. I'm not knocking Wilder but Stiverne certainly isn't that now.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 13:37 We have known that Wilder got power for years. Just a historic and scintillating performance by the Bronze Bomber last night, although as expected, the Joshua trolls continue to lambaste him.
Wilder entered the ring against a respected former champion in Stiverne, and obliterated him. What a statement.
No 10 round dance, like AJ recently engaged in.
When boxing historians look back at this demolition job decades from now, I believe it will be compared to Joe Louis' 1st round annihilation of Max Schmeling.
Both anticipated heavyweight title fights. Both simply mind boggling in destructiveness.
Let's see if Joshua displays the nerve to cross the pond and tangle with Deontay Wilder.
Joshua will make excuses about how he prefers to remain within the friendly confines of the British Isles. But he'll never be taken seriously as a dual alphabet champion unless he ventures to the U.S. and puts his belts on the line against one of heavyweight history's most destructive punchers.

That's right. Joshua is a draw who can pick an opponent, and at this time, Fury and Parker are preferable for him. Wilder's only hope for a big payday is Joshua, so he has to wait in line. Refusing to fight a lower level Brit like Whyte isn't helping his position in that line.Badhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 13:43Wilder will probably get no credit for knocking out Breazeale like Joshua did, but he will probably end up fighting him as a mandatory because Joshua has no intention of fighting Wilder anytime soon.
