Re: Betting thread
Taking a little on Adrian Granados at 9/1 against Shaun Porter. AG is tough as they come and you could argue he should still be unbeaten with a couple of SD/MD's that could have definitely gone his way. Porter is a level above but if he has an off night Granados will make him work that's for sure and at 9/1 its worth a small play
Re: Betting thread
If Porter wasn't allowed to use his head as a weapon I'd be with you 100%.....(the odds would be closer to 2/1 than 9/1 of course)The Insider wrote: ↑04 Nov 2017, 06:06 Taking a little on Adrian Granados at 9/1 against Shaun Porter. Re: Betting thread
Damn, after seeing Stiverne weigh in like that and after the layoff this was a classic moment to back wilder in 1-3, but I ended up not doing it. Anyone know the odds for that?

Re: Betting thread
That was the best price? I was thinking it would be at least 6/1. Maybe I wouldn’t have lumped on at 4s after all. You get a piece?GlobalBox wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 04:094/1 RiddickRiddick Blowe wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 03:52 Damn, after seeing Stiverne weigh in like that and after the layoff this was a classic moment to back wilder in 1-3, but I ended up not doing it. Re: Betting thread
Skoglund opened as the underdog and he's been backed into favourite ever so slightly.
What's people's thoughts? His form against Smith alone is better than what Rocky has shown.

I'm on Skogland. Although I always fancy Rocky to get beat and then he pulls a win.TheGingerBomber wrote: ↑08 Nov 2017, 11:07 Skoglund opened as the underdog and he's been backed into favourite ever so slightly.

Re: Betting thread
Jarrell Miller 6/5 for the stoppage against Mariusz Wach looks a good price. I don't think Wach has a lot left at this level at 37 years of age after a hard career and Miller knows he needs a big performance to secure a big fight.
Re: Betting thread
That's funny, I came into the thread to say that I thought 4/5 for a points win was a good price! Miller tends to wear guys down and the only man to stop Wach in 35 fights was a juiced up Povetkin, and it took him until the last round. Hopefully a few more markets pop up on fight day as I'm torn between a points win or late stoppage at the moment.
Re: Betting thread
the povetkin stoppage was lame. the cut hadnt gotten much worse and they let him fight until the last round with it. why not let it go on another minute or so? it was just to get povetkin a hometown stoppage win imo. wach was never hurt at any point.
thing is that wach can be a bit of a punching bag. i can see him not really being hurt but just taking too many shots and the ref stepping in. also not sure what hes like to the body.

Re: Betting thread
Anyone think Haye 5-1 on points against Bellew is a very good price? Haye didn't hurt him once prior to the injury last time out - even when he started to land clean in the mid rounds. He also lacks the footspeed of old - that much was apparent even in the warmup fights against tomato cans. There is a good chance to me Bellew goes on the backfoot again and loses on points for lack of offense...

Er yes, but Wach was never dangerous in this fight and got outclassed.jamamb wrote: ↑09 Nov 2017, 16:31 the povetkin stoppage was lame. the cut hadnt gotten much worse and they let him fight until the last round with it. why not let it go on another minute or so? it was just to get povetkin a hometown stoppage win imo. wach was never hurt at any point.
