From what I saw Stiverne landed one jab to the body, I recon I could have landed two but my misses wouldn't let me do that :verysad:

I probably could've thrown more punches before getting knocked out in the 1st round, but it wouldn't take the full 3 minutes I'm sure so...I don't know would you consider throwing more punches, but losing 2 or 2 and a half minutes sooner better?

Forget about what we could have done. What would Kalan have done? What round would Kalan KO wilder?

If Wilder came out bombing right away, yeah, but I get the feeling if Wilder was fighting some schmuck like one of us he'd just kinda smack us around for a minute first. Ya know...have a little fun

I might have been wrong. CompuBox says Stiverne didn't land a single punch...

Hell I don't know if he even threw 3. Looked like he threw like maybe 2 half assed jabs toward the body...by which I mean he moved his left arm outward twice

It was a sad performance alright. I'm struggling to think of a more one sided HW title fight? Has there been one where the opponent never got to land a single punch?
I'm sure someone can think of one but I can't.

I mean even when John Ruiz got wrecked by David Tua in 19 seconds he still managed to throw 3 meaningful jabs first

That wasn't a title fight though.

Nah I don't think I could think of a more one sided title fight. Not off the top of my head.

Ha! I remember that one well. I was in a bar and we paid a $10 cover charge for 19 seconds
There was a better fight in the carpark between some Black Power prospects and the local Mongrel Mob who were barred from the pub and wanted to get in to see the fight.

I just hope that Stiverne puts up a better fight next time when he is the WBC mandatory in 2020.

When one boxer takes a fight with no intention of winning it or training for it then we get what we got last night for a main event. I mean, did Stiverne even drive by the gym on his way to Taco Bell for this fight? Did he not pay his gym dues? Stiverne cashed it in..plain and simple. Just like the usual Wilder opponent. The worst part is that Stiverne did have some talent and either is too old now or messing around with the devils talcum powder.

As a natural LWW who has never sparred a round of boxing in my life it would be miracle were I to survive ten seconds and then actually survive the resulting KO.

As for more embarrassing title fights, Harrison landed one punch in almost nine minutes against Haye...

Of course not. Most of us would be put to sleep just from Wilder's jab.

Other than the few big guys here who've actually boxed at a decent levels nearly all of us would get smashed apart by any halfway decent heavyweight probably even through the guard.
