Who were they? Counting 41 yr old Wlad after his Fury performance? Was he ranked? Takam? Ok. Still not impressed. Joshua and Wilder need to fight to see who is best. Only one wants it.gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 14:07What about the fact that AJ has stopped 2 more Top 10 ranked Heavyweights than Wilder has? Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
I agree they need to fight to see who's the best. I'm not convinced that Wilder wants anything to do with any Top 10 opponent. He's not even defended his title against a Top 10 opponent one f*cking time in 2 and a half years.
Joshua managed to wrangle a Top 10 opponent to fill in for the Top 10 opponent that backed out.
Wilder also seemed to shoot down the idea of fighting Dillian Whyte to get Joshua last night because he knows he'd rather just keep fighting Not Top 10 guys.
Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
41 year old Wlad who Vitali said have a career best performance vs Joshua is definitely top ten. It’s mental to suggest otherwise.Badhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 14:27Who were they? Takam maybe borderline I guess top ten
What’s your top ten? Pull deontays whopper out your gob and write down your top ten
Lol at it’s not fair to compare Molina. What a nut hugger you are

You mentioned Joshua managing to wrangle a top 10 opponent before he backed out, but seem to forget Wilder had signed to fight two top ten opponents, before they were cancelled. Can he count them too?gilgamesh wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 14:31I agree they need to fight to see who's the best. I'm not convinced that Wilder wants anything to do with any Top 10 opponent. Forget using Joshua as part of your argument, as Wlad and Takam and arguably Whyte and breazeale are better than anything wilder has facedBadhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 15:30You mentioned Joshua managing to wrangle a top 10 opponent before he backed out, but seem to forget Wilder had signed to fight two top ten opponents, before they were cancelled. He’s had half the fights. He’s not the protected fighter

I post honestly, and don't make crap up. I lean toward fighters I like, just as anyone else does. Your insults are showing you just another dumbfuck that gets butthurt because someone disagrees. I know its embarrassing for you that your hero Joshua won't fight Wilder. A lot of people are beginning to wonder why. I can explain things to you, but can't understand them for you. If you were anymore inbred you would be a sandwich. Go away.Ossyrules wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 14:4541 year old Wlad who Vitali said have a career best performance vs Joshua is definitely top ten. If you read the thread you’d see I have wilder down as the more powerful guy as the OP asks.
Joshua is no king of mine, but you post a lot of rubbish against him so it’s only fair a bit of normality is restored.
You’ve at least admitted you are biased to fighters you like so I can accept that
Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
Joshua DID fight 2 Top 10 opponents. Wilder WAS GONNA fight 2 Top 10 opponents. You don't get any credit for "Was gonna". You either did or you didn't.Badhusker wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 15:30

Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
We'll find out who hits harder the back end of 2018 or early/ mid 2019.
Last nights events can only have added £millions to the eventual superfight. I hope Stiverne gets a fair reward for his contribution towards what will be the most anticipated fight of the decade.
Unfortunately we will also have to suffer many more months of who's avoiding who bullshit.

The entire Heavyweight division is avoiding the entire rest of the Heavyweight division basically. It's not just those two.Thomastearns wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 16:24 We'll find out who hits harder the back end of 2018 or early/ mid 2019.

Wilder hits harder than Joshua?
That's a given.
Wilder has legit one punch power.
A more intriguing question is whether Wilder hits harder than prime Foreman. Shavers?
You can't dismiss the possibility. If you do, then your bias is showing.

Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
I really don't know who hits harder between the two of them. I think it obvious that BOTH of them hit very hard. I think the only way to try and assess something like that would be to compare which one of them stopped the more durable opposition, but I don't think there's much substance on either list to do it.
Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
Yes I'm pretty certain that he does but I still think Joshua beats him. Wilder hit's harder, is less predictable, faster around the ring, better stamina. Joshua has been tested at a higher level, has greater strength, handspeed, punch resistance, and technique. His one shot punch power is pretty damn good even if inferior to Deontay's but he throws cultured combinations and doesn't resort to windmilling.
It looks like being a great fight but I don't mind waiting for it - I'm a grown-up![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Duplicate post. I don't know why but my machine has stopped giving any kind of indication whether or not a post has been submitted, when you press the submit button. I've resorted to checking boxrec on another device to see if my post was successful or not.

I have the same dilemma.
The server sucks for the past several weeks. Even if it submits the post, it buffers for nearly 4 minutes.
Que paso?

just click submit, wait a second, then click/press the thread title and open the thread in another tab to check

I just click submit twice, you'll then get a message of your own post being there and then click index. It's annoying, but not difficult to figure out if you look at your screen.thats mobile.

Re: Wilder hits harder than Joshua
Joshua is meeting everyone he has to meet in the ring and is doing exactly what is expected of him and then some, since he has finished all of his opponents so far.
Wilder is doing the same, Personally I wish he had met Ortiz, instead of the drug fallout and Ortiz getting his license revoked and the fight falling through. At the same time it did give everyone a chance to see how wilder had improved. Arguably Stiverne would have come into the fight potentially less of a challenge since he hadn't fought in so long but given a decent training camp, should have been there or there about to challenge Wilder.
After 2 years the difference was staggering, Wilder destroyed a man who 2 years prior took him 12 rounds and in less then 1 he completely dominated him.
Joshua by comparison has had his fair share of accomplishments so far, again arguably the biggest being beating the standard for the most dominant heavyweight in Wladimir Klitschko and took some big shots himself along the way towards the win.
Joshua still has a lot of developing to go and has a long successful career ahead of him. Wilder right now is probably at a high in confidence and despite his age is still improving.
In terms of boxing ability and skill I'd say Joshua, because he is still improving and despite his fights going longer he is learning how to deal with different types of boxers instead of finishing fights early. But in terms of raw power and aggression, adding in his build and reach on top of that, Wilder is probably a stronger puncher then Joshua.

Yes, despite all this magical muscle ( what is it 30-35lbs over his Olympic days weight lol) AJ still doesn't have the one punch power Wilder has. All the gossip girl back and forth about resume does not mean anything, weak sauce really. ONE punch at heavyweight can negate any amount of resume debate. AJ fans insecurity is hilarious though, but based on proper fear. They know Wilder is a far bigger threat than old man Klitschko, quoting his fornicating brother is cute but perhaps Vlad had no trouble at all hitting that big lug because (gasp) AJ isn't really the fighter he gets hyped as. His reflexes are slowing, feet are slowing, hands are dropping more often, he's struggling with stamina clearly, it's all that extra muscle he never needed. These are bad signs, mentally and physically. I don't think most people believe AJ is naturally anywhere close to 250lbs+, but since they support him his "methods" are overlooked. It would be foolish not to question it, he looks juiced out of his mind. Anyone honest would agree,he doesn't look natural at all. We can wait for the book to come out like what will happen with Marquez, but suspicions will likely be confirmed, the truth always comes out. That magic muscle will be his undoing, in the ring and out. Just a matter of time. He looks like a cartoon superhero. He looked anything but, not too long ago. Just a thought..
