Hughie fury has the style and feet to cause wilder plenty of issues.. Does he win? Probably not but he can give wilder a headache and who knows if wilder can't deal with that tricky style hughie could edge it on points win.

70/30 wilder but he hughie is live.

Is his drug situation all cleared up then?

Wonder if with all the BT money he takes a punt and pays to get Wilder over here.

Do Hughie chances increase or decrease after last night's Wilder performance?

Even though Wilder was down on my card tonight, I'm still confident that he would KO Hughie. I just don't think Hughie has the strength or power to get respect at the highest levels, and he's not such a good boxer that he can stay out of harm's way all night.

Wilder has said he will not fight anyone with a PED history so unless UKAD clear Hughie and Tyson this fight will never happen.

I don't think that Wilder performance tells us anything we don't already know about Wilder. Generally he's awful to watch, but can can go through the gears very quickly.

Agreed, I was bored watching him from the 2nd round. Had it have went to 7/8, I would have switched off.

Wilder looked extremely limited, especially when he tried to box over the first 4 rounds. Washington was using his jab and winning the rounds on my scorecard.

The only time that Wilder looked the better fighter was when he decided to open up and let his hands go.

He might be a World Heavyweight Champion but he's still an extremely flakey fighter.

If washington had been capable of throwing a right cross, things could well have been different.

I don't know that I've ever seen wilder through a proper straight shot, and he has virtually no defence.

I look forward to seeing him fight Joshua, but I have my doubts he's ever going to fight anybody who poses a real threat. 37-0 and he's still to face a real top level heavyweight.

But a fight with Joshua is with mega millions to him and his team.

They must realise that sooner or later he's going to get beat so they may as well cash out.

I do like the bloke though. He's a fcking rock star in Alabama

Wilder and breazeale had a huge brawl in a hotel lobby last night with family members involved.
Hatred seems genuine which will be turned into Wilders next defence.

It's kinda weird, as Breazeale does come across as a relatively nice bloke, but he's somehow ruffled the feathers of both Joshua and Wilder.

Wilder said he won't fight anyone who has tested positive for PEDs.

Maybe Parker won't be fighting Fury either:

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/ar ... d=11809112
Joseph Parker's promoters have contingencies in place should Hughie Fury receive a ban for allegedly failing a drugs test two years ago and be ruled out of his mandatory world heavyweight title shot against the New Zealander.

Fury, and his heavyweight cousin Tyson, allegedly failed a test for banned substance nandrolone in 2015, and Britain's Daily Mail has reported that the pair will have their long-delayed hearing in mid-April.

The news, which Parker's promoter David Higgins said he was aware of, will likely frustrate the Kiwi's camp, as, had the Furys signed their fight contract earlier, the bout for the WBO title would have been held in early April, before the hearing.

Instead, the Englishmen held off, and, unfortunately for all concerned, the fight has been put back to early May. The details will be announced next week, with Higgins saying no date had been confirmed but that he hoped the fight would be held in New Zealand.

Higgins told the Herald that should Fury be ruled out -- and he and Tyson have vehemently denied taking nandrolone, a prohibited steroid -- the 25-year-old Parker would fight someone else.

"The boxing business is about hedging and contingencies," Higgins said. "You're silly to only have one option, and certainly if anything like that happened, you'd have someone solid and credible and at least at the same or better level on standby ready to draft in.

"We can line up an alternative opponent who is at least as good as Hughie Fury. There are a lot of options, but at this point Hughie Fury is the mandatory."

The Daily Mail reported that the British Boxing Board of Control had urged the United Kingdom Anti-Doping authority to process the steroid accusations and it is believed the hearing is penciled in for mid-April.

How does the Wilder that blasted out Stiverne fare with the Hughie that narrowly lost to Parker?

Wilder's probably the fastest-moving heavy right now, so coupled with his power it's a two-rounder at best for me.

Hughie and Wilder knows this, that's why he chickened out and fought Duhaupas instead.

I've also got a feeling Hughie would outbox Wilder if they met. Probably get another stinking decision if it was held in the US...

Mid-round stoppage for Wilder. Think Hughie would have outboxed him for the opening 3-4 rounds, but when Wilder realises that Hughie has no sting, he'll step up the tempo and flush him out.

Hughie is certainly the more skilfull however I don’t think he has the power to stop Wilder just overwhelming him.
Wilder isn’t at the size disadvantage that Parker was and I think he would stop him early.

Very very exiting match this would be, Wilder would never dare such a thing.
