Trent looked a bit too keen to mix it with Bivol. He did land a decent shot at the opening. But.

Yeah you don't wanna trade shots with a guy that has the punching power that Bivol has. Especially when you have the height advantage like Broadhurtst did. Just a different class. Rough night for the kid.

Bivol has the look of a guy really going places. Time may make put some perspective on Broadhurst's disappointment.

Just watched it on YouTube. The first knockdown looked like there was nothing in it, but the knockout punch on the bell, there was no need to count. Bivol is a beast and will be keen to see how the rest of his career pans out.

I know it probably wouldn’t happen cause I think they spar a lot together but Trent beats Damien Hooper I think. It would be an option and a good fight for Aussie Boxing.

I think thats part of the problem , getting to the top Aust level is easy for the better guys , but without them fighting each other that next level will be just a little bit to far away , and they just don't fight each other any more . Its been touched on so many times , but i really don't know who's to blame trainers , promotors , or the fighters themselves ... personaly i will be blasted for this but i blame the fighters , after all there ultimatly in charge , if no one will fight them its not there fault , but i'm sure if the fighter told his trainer i want to fight everyone and i'll go elswhere , if it does'nt happen then i'm sure that if it can be made it will .. ITS A HARD ONE THOUGH

I totally agree. These are the fights that should be made so the winner could be ready for the next level. Least they would be the best in Australia before moving on to the worlds best.

ya whats with this poor trent sobfest. man can now say he fought for a world title.. bivol is very good and losing to him is no shame. you can lose to him and still have a career. boxings a hard game and knockout losses are a normal part of it. get up and build back up.

Trent has been chosen to make Bivol look good and wow the crowd with a hightlight reel KO. Higher ranked fighters are blueing why they didn't get the shot.
:TU:
Predictable after his demolition of Berridge and Agnew on the Ward-Kovalev 2 undercard. Bivol is like Beterbiev,Deveryachenko etc a well schooled EE fighter. Hope Trent can come back and still make a decent earn from boxing fighting fighters on his level and isn't ruined mentally.
