It wouldn’t surprise me if he was injured. I’m a haye fan, well was when he was on top not really his comeback, but he’s too injury prone for the sport and training now. It’s a shame cos he’s one heck of a specimen but too fragile for an 8 week training camp or whatever he does. Boxing can’t cope with injuries as it leads to cancelled events and you end up having to take fights when not 100% fit to try and stay reliable to opponents and promoters

Plus I can’t deal with Bellew and his fans claiming another heroic win that is realistically decided on injury

Of course Haye is injured...but won't pull out, he likes the money too much to care about paying fans

It wouldn't surprise anybody, of that, I am certain.

Haye gets injured while adjusting the climate control settings on his Range Rover Sport these days!

Eddie Hearn, coupled with Sky Sports, have dismissed these rumours as being untrue.

Or they could have said, yes he is injured and those of you who are going to buy tickets or the PPV shouldn't bother as you're wasting your money

There’s really no point in being cynical about the honesty of Eddie Hearn and Sky Sports in relation to this matter, when they have a proven track record of cancelling PPV events whenever one of the headline combatants are injured.

If David Haye’s team are lying (in the same way that Manny Pacquiao did prior to the Mayweather fight), since they’re the people that are actually denying these rumours, then the blame is on them, not Eddie Hearn or Sky Sports.

Strong chance he is injured, but don’t rule out the hayemaker playing games in this situation
