I think he should go on to fight for the European title.. he's better than Domestic level IMO.. but like Smith, he's not world level..

The Eggington fight would be a good watch. Williams should win that.

Re: Where now for Liam Williams?
He still the British champ? Have a solid defence of that, maybe against Asinia Byfield? Drop the belt, go for the European, defend that, drop it, move into world title eliminator, fight world champ. In an ideal world.
Re: Where now for Liam Williams?
Jimmy kilrain Kelly seems an obvious fight to make. Both sell tickets, both under Warren, both British, both highly ranked by the WBO.
Other than that I think Liam should fight former world title holders on the way down, beating a former world title holder can do a lot for a fighters self belief.
A Cornelius Bundradge or Jack Culcay would be good. Then they often use ex world champs from the weight below like an Andre berto, Brandon rios or Louis collazo.

would like culcay, he gave an unbeaten polish contender hell last time out.
was really competitive fight with smith, dont think williams needs to take a big step back or rebuild much.
