Exactly!
That's why I started this thread. Del is perfect for these up and coming guys. Joyce would learn a lot from Del, and if he lost, rematch him and learn more.
Personally I think it is one fight too soon for Joyce :maybe:
I think it would be perfect for Joyce 3rd fight. Del is going nowhere now, but I would still say British level. Not sure how fast they will push joyce though, but certainly not a one horse race.

He should retire soon, preferably now. Before long he will be in the Williams / Sprott human punchbag territory and I really hope that doesn't happen.

Not sure Lewison and Little are getting the kind of purses Del Boy would require...

i really would like to see him vs joyce. i think this was dels worst loss and think he may have dropped in the level he gatekeeps for, but hes still obviously above guys like sexton, lewison, and little. maybe little this year, and sexton, del, and someone else (and pissibly a 4th) next year for joyce. kayabel maybe?

He isnt that old for a heavy, where do you see him going ater this latest loss?
Chisora is in the same position he was before he let himself down again against Kabayel; he's a Euro level gatekeeper that often doesn't train properly.

Still plenty of life left in old Del Boy....

If big David Price is serious about making a come-back that would be an interesting fight imo.
The rematch with Whyte will be back on if Dillian takes a L (to Wilder?)
Tyson Fury's come back fight?

Then Joyce, Gorman, Dubois etc if Dereck wants to take that route...

Price & Chisora are both on their way to Journeymanville.

Down the pub, geezer is finished, he'll only ever be used as a stepping stone for younger prospects coming up , defo not world level barely European level, British level looks about his standard now, he really does look like a small hall fighter
