Joyce should stop him, unless Little has improved markedly since I saw him last

Well, a “fit” Lewiston would stop Little but the one Joyce faced? It’s a step back but not a terrible fight I guess. Shame it’s not Sexton though

I take you point bu it's still a reasonable opponent for a second fight, and I guess they want him to look impressive too.

little seems a bit refreshed and i dont think hes that bad a 2nd opponent. prob put up more of a fight than lewison but get stopped sooner. but the next opponent should be sexton or someone around that level.

Very much a step back for Joyce, however you cant deny him an easy nights work for his second pro fight. This fight should give joyce a knock out but also give us an indication on if he has much power or not. Its not going t be easy knocking out decent fighters in your first pro fight so hopefully this will give him a little step back and a chance to find a quick knock out.

At least hes getting another british opponent which is great to see.

Not saying Little is a world beater but he is better than some seem to be giving him credit for. I think he could make Joyce look like a mug early doors, just don't know what he will be like in the later rounds with Joyce's engine being good. If his engine holds up he could upset odds

Little is a good test who offers something different namely good speed and movement for a heavy. Actually better than Lewison these days who is very one dimensional and dreadfully unfit.

Joyce somewhat improved over the course of his first fight as the rounds by (weird, but that's what I saw - maybe just nerves early doors). Will be interesting to see if he can hit the ground running this time.

its very good for a second pro fight.

lets not get carried away

by modern standards this is good matchmaking...normally a former Olympian would be fed total stiffs for his first 15 odd fights.

Its a bit meh, I was expecting Sexton and I really think he is ready for Sexton now. But I do agree with the points that I feel whilst Lewison is more talented, perhaps Little will offer more ambition - so it might end up a harder fight.

It aint bad and if he couldn't get Sexton it is fine - I would rather it be Sexton though.

I think a lot of you have this all wrong. Little has improved a lot and has good boxing skills. If he is fit he could cause a upset and derail the Joyce cart very early in his career. I would consider putting money on Tom Little. :bag:

Yeah like the last fight a lot will come down to the weigh in. Clearly Little has lost a lot of weight since prizefighter and losing to Darch. And since losing that weight he’s been more active and is on a decent run. I definitely would back the current Little against the Ian Lewiston that fought last. This is a more than good 2nd fight.

Joe Joyce is so robotic it's a joke, I think anybody that can move a bit has the beating of him, don't rate him at all.. I'd love to see Dubois fight Joyce and leave him flat out in a round or two.
