Don't know about this points malarkey but Hatton and Calzaghe between them only doubt one guy with a winning record in their first 20 fights

yes, 1 in their first 10 combined to make 20.they both started to step up pretty much right after thst though, as i hope benn does a bit too.dont think any will argue that there hasnt been early days crushers before.

i think benns best was the 2-4 guy he fought. guys like fought tonight are pretty much worthless even with winning records. how bad does ones opposition have to be to be ranked #1241 at 7-6! i wouldnt rank that higher than a win over a 8-54 circuit journeyman

You learn from every fight and every experience - where were joe and Ricky fighting in their 10th fights? A n indoor 5-a-side pitch in Blackwood or Hyde with some seats . Benn has flown to New York for his 10th contest to face a different opponent culturally and a different experience preparation wise.

personally I'd love the best of best to fight each other straight away , but promoters aren't gonna let it happen and novice fighters are going to be given knockover jobs

different opponent culturally makes little difference when its a can who falls over. get real. the talk of learning from every expeiernce is nonsense too. experiencing the same easy win over and over against cans is gonna have a pretty low cap on what you learn each time.there youd be learning pretty much all in the gym.

ya, others have done the same, pretty obvious there mate, but when its that easy time and time again and theres loads of room to step up why not do it?you earlier said you hoped for a test, as did i. certaintly its what ill hope he does soon, although maybe others want him to keep it where it is simply because its happened before in boxing.

he needs small steps but still steps, whether ricky fought some bums or not

The truth is most fighters first ten fights are against fuzzing idiots. Forget your boxrec points and your rankings. They're knockover jobs. Latvian roadsweepers.

I agree you learn nothing more from a "can" falling over in Salford as you do a can in Vegas , however, you do gain experience from fighting in different towns , locations, countries, continents.you need to get real. Everything is the same - behave

Let's have it right - have you boxed? where do you learn early doors ? Do you think early doors you maximise your learning in the ring?

Of course not

As you know early doors you learn in the gym but gain money and experience on the road

early doors youll learn most in the gym if your pro fights are repeated and carefully selected knockover jobs

you yourself on the first page said you had hoped for a test so whats the issue. ffs man we all know a lot of ppl fight 'bums 'early on

I did hope for a test for him. I hoped to get the lottery numbers this week too.

Early doors you'll always learn more from sparring than you will your fights. Only a retard thinks otherwise . Far better standard in the gym than out until a fighter progresses

right so if you hoped for a test why are you making an issue out of people wantint him to be slightly stepped up so he can get more of a test? because ricky fought some bums about 20 years ago? strange. i think hes been handled well but imo reaching that logical next small step stage, regardless of what others did

nice to see that only a retard would think otherwise btw. did you ask that question to test me
