2:13 * What was once just a trickle of blood is much more noticeable now as Pavlik's face looks like it lost a fight with a razor blade. It's a good thing that the bleeding isn't over an eye or this fight would be in jeopardy. And it still may be, as Referee Salzgeber has now halted the contest and is leading Pavlik toward the ring doctor's position to get a second opinion on the severity of the bleeding. 9:7
2:13 * The doctor is peering at the wound and he's shrugged his shoulders and he's shaking his head - is that a good thing or bad? Well, it's good from Pavlik's perspective and the cheer that arises from the crowd tells us all we need to know: there's going to be more fisticuffs in just a moment. 1:33 Langford closes his eyes and wings wild cross at Pavlik rocking his head back and sending sweat flying! 12:2
1:33 It looks like Langford has reopened Pavlik's previous wound because Pavlik is now bleeding once again. 12:2
1:33 Blood is running from the gash under the right eye of Pavlik again. 12:2
1:33 * More than once this round, it has appeared as if the referee has thought about stepping between the fighters due to the increased bleeding from at least one cut on Pavlik's face. Now the third man in the ring is doing just that, as we get a stoppage in the action while the referee leads Pavlik toward the ringside doctor for a quick consultation. In Pavlik's favor, the bleeding isn't flowing into either of his eyes. 12:2
1:38 * Salzgeber has stopped the fight and has called for the ringside physician. Pavlik pleads his case as the doctor takes a very close look at his cut.* No! Salzgeber waves it off. The fight is over! The doctor is not going to let it continue. The winner by TKO is Langford! 12:2
