Re: Fury looked decent today
Im guessing this is the Twitter video of Fury in the gym?
He looked ok, I thought a bit slow to be honest, not surprising really the length out of the gym and the excess weight. But yes seems to have shed a few pounds. Things can only get better providing he's serious and doesnt go on another bender after a few weeks. Hopefully this is the start of the next journey. Lets hope so.

I hope Tyson Fury makes it back to the big time.
Big doubts though.
He’s been treated terribly.

Oh dear. That's probably the most pathetic thing I've ever read.mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2017, 18:21Yep. Not as fat as he did though. I'm considering celebrating his comeback by knocking you out.
Re: Fury looked decent today
I wish Tyson Fury would just f*@k off to a monastery in the middle of a desert, with that "strength and conditioning" (ahem, cough) guru that used to work with Pacquiao, Khan, Roach etc, with nothing but hungry sparring partners for company.
And stay there for a year.
Come back with two impressive warm ups fights- one in the US - free on C5 while simaltaneously coming a respectable 3rd in Strictly Come Dancing and drilling the 'Celebrity Chase'/Blankety Blank/League of their Own circuit.
Summer 2019 and the biggest UK PPV of all time.
With Wenbley stadium and US friendly timing, it could be the biggest PPV ever...
I'm dreaming
but,
Boxing needs Fury back to his best

Go have a read back of your own posts, son.

Why are you this angry after I said Fury looks fat?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2017, 18:41Go have a read back of your own posts, son.dirk2686 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2017, 18:30Oh dear. That's probably the most pathetic thing I've ever read.mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2017, 18:21

Re: Fury looked decent today
He did look good
Thing is, none of the talk on here matters about how "fat" Tyson is or what ever
Cos if he gets his mind right & gets fit he will come back and clean up and then it'll leave people twiddling their thumbs & making excuses again
If AJ KOs Tyson I say fair play, but he won't, he'll get out boxed
But if Tyson out boxes AJ you'd hear & read all sorts of backward talk as to why that happened

Re: Fury looked decent today
He looked about as good as I do on my stand up speed bag.
No point discussing Fury until he actually fights.
I wish him all the best. We need him.

Re: Fury looked decent today
He looked as sharp as can be expected for a man carrying five stone too many. I'll be more interested when he's got his weight down and is able to train properly.
Re: Fury looked decent today
Thing is, this is just a case of seen it all before isn't it?
Tyson says he's coming back. Pictures and videos of him emerge puffing and panting when he's having a jog, or lumbering about doing a bit of pad work whilst clearly still fat. A date of sorts emerges.
What would be of genuine interest would be Fury getting a licence, an opponent, a date, and a venue. Until then, it's no different to countless other announcements all of which turned to dust.
Re: Fury looked decent today
Hw boxing is so much better with Tyson
Re: Fury looked decent today
My bet is on Tyson becoming bored with training, saying 'f*ck it' and gaining a bit more weight.

Re: Fury looked decent today
That is my concern. Losing a stone is hard enough, but the graft involved in shifting 6-7st
It's a shame because the heavyweight division is more interesting with a fit Tyson Fury than without.

Re: Fury looked decent today
If interested in fighting again he should probably just fight a couple fat. I have been saying he should just cash out, but I don't think he can lose the weight without fighting. Certainly not without a license. That's crazy how they've handled that.the_doctor wrote: ↑14 Nov 2017, 07:14That is my concern. Re: Fury looked decent today
I'm convinced that Fury should be working with the Ingles (alongside Peter). His style is a perfect fit and I think Dominic could add to his style, also they have a good nutritionist and strength coach in place which BJS has benefitted from. I wonder if he could be tempted?
Re: Fury looked decent today
Did we watch the same video?
I thought he looked like Butterbean.

Re: Fury looked decent today
Having read posts on this forum for a while now, I think we can agree on something. The same people, regardless what Fury says or does, or how he appears, will suggest he looks great, that he's coming back, and when he does, he'll obviously be brilliant. It is genuinely like the man can do no wrong.
