I thought Fury looked fairly sharp in the footage, especially considering he’s way off being fight ready! Fingers crossed he’s taking it seriously again and it’s not another ‘I’m back!’ then 6 weeks later he’s put another two stone on.

Can't disagree, was given a gold medal and a world title and still sells stadiums out! Incredible promotion.

Totally agree, people on here laud Joshua for beating a “proper champion”. However, they still slate Fury for beating a younger and more active version of the same guy

Plenty don't believe Fury is mentally unwell.

He and his team lie all the time. Why would this be any different?

Tyson not ill? That’s a bit much. He was and is arguably still in a right state

He beat Wlad fair and square by the way. Just because the bookies and those who watched were anticipating a hometown decision at the end it doesn’t mean Fury was lucky. He deserved that win and it was a great achievement, pissed on by the British media because his face doesn’t fit.
It wasn’t a masterclass in the truest sense of boxing but surely going to a long reigning champions backyard, dealing with all his teams tricks beforehand, winning the fight with a bit to spare and getting the decision is a masterclass of sorts? He was very defensive but look at what all the others before had done against Wlad, only to lose?
Fury was never going to win a shootout with him and that meant taking the approach he did. Tyson has been involved in plenty of all action, exciting fights. He’s not like Hughie who is ultra defensive all the time.

He's only got himself to blame if his face doesn't fit.

Tyson says a lot of things tongue in cheek to have an impact, others are based on religious beliefs, show me a person that doesn't have any prejudice in their soul?
AJ is not a perfect person either, despite his media image I feel he has some real nastiness in him, something that quite benefits him as a professional boxer.
Remember theses are fighters not saints or politicians.
I think Fury is a likeable guy and at his best he is the top guy out there.
Boxing is poorer for his departure

tyson has been in some good ones for sure but since cunnngham hes been very negative. wlad and del 2 were both strong candidates for worst fights of the year. hammer was a slow and boring one too. its pretty much all about landing flicking jabs and safety now. effective for hm but lost me as someone who looks forward to his fights

Doesn't answer the question tho. If it's so easy why couldn't Fury fill the MEN for his first defence?

Horrendous prices. I could have sold 50 but when the prices came back? Also terrible promotion. But nobody is getting away with £200 upper tier at The Men. It was just silly.

Nothing wrong with him at all outside of the ring. Suffers a lot with nerves and expectations put on him his whole life by some people whilst he could hardly be a wallflower, he was 6'4 as a kid. That's not easy. Says some silly stuff, yes, but his boxing knowledge is second to none.

Very tounge in cheek comment made by Tyson hugely exaggerated by everyone. He has nothing against gay people either. He's quoted the bible before, probably shouldn't have done. He's an English/Irish traveller with Mick Hennessey, Asif Vali and Clifton Mitchell in his team. Probably the most multicultural team you can get, yet has been called racist!

Regardless of the multi-cultural team. He's a piece of sh*t, and other than never coming back to Boxing and remaining a fat slob for me to mock, the only thing I'd rather see is him coming back and getting knocked on his fat ass. F*ck him. One of the bigger pieces of sh*t I've ever seen in the sport.

I said ONE of the bigger pieces of sh*t. I'd say the people you mention are worse, but Fury is still up there. There's no shortage of pieces of sh*t in this sport.

I didn't put him in that class. You did.

I'd say he's up there as far as pieces of sh*t are concerned. I didn't say he's one of the worst the sport has ever known, but I personally dislike him greatly.

No he's not a murderer or a crooked promoter, but I don't f*cking like the guy and wouldn't care to meet him, and if that's offensive to you. I'm sure I don't give a sh*t.

Not 'one of the worst'. Just 'up there' with them. Because you 'personally dislike' him.

Indeed.
