I saw this earlier- hope this doesn’t happen- boxing will have plummeted to new lows if it does

I hope Ricky, if he did say anything about fighting again was saying it as a joke, especially the Ferdinand fight and The Daily mirror have taken it out of context.
Boxing cannot go on like this with all these retired boxers wanting to come out of retirement to fight someone on the basis of just lining their pockets. Its getting bloody crazy.

I don't see why not. That's really all Boxing has ever been. Prizefighting. Fighting for money. You think guys do this sh*t for their health?

Does anyone really think this will happen? I don’t.

Casual fans will love it- and probably fork out for it

Wouldn't fight Junior Witter but will fight Rio Ferdinand? Agree it's got to be about the money.

I suspect his tongue was firmly in his cheek when he said it. Although, Ferdinand will probably fight at cruiserweight so at least Hatton won't have to diet...

I'm hearing the winner will fight Roy Keane on ITTV box office PPV.
